It is without doubt the lowest point so far in the leeds debacle of a season. Eddie Gray associated with LUFC for over 38 years, a critically acclaimed coach and arguably one of the best managers the club had ( just check on the players he brought through with little or no finances when he was in charge) has been sacked. The reason being so that Monkey Boy can bring in his chimps and probably sign some from his old zoo too. Peter Reid not more than 2 weeks in the job making wholesale changes to what was previously a proven successful coaching team (bar goat boy)...no doubt while the memory of the Arsenal game is still fresh in fans minds. I think that taking on Reid is big step backwards and Leeds have lost ambition and vision in his coming, they will become a team of sloggers under him, who will run their hearts out and kick lumps out of oppoding sides. He is at the complete opposite end of the footballing spectrum to Venables and he was clueless too. If Leeds continue to veer from one course to another aimlessly and make headlines for the wrong reasons the club deserves to fail, Mc Kenzie is in charge now and he is supposedly renowned for keeping a steady ship...sounds like mid table for the forseeable future then, with a few ex mackems to hoof it about. I'd love to be wrong but he doesn't inspire long term confidence.

Unfortunately, the reason was done was money, which at Leeds right now is scarce. Hopefully the new chairman and Reid can get things together and give the Elland Road faithfull some to cheer about next term.

I would have thought Reed would only have doen it to make space for his own long ball cronies.
