Friendly: espanyol vs Lazio

Lazio today will play a freindly in barcelona against de la Pena's team, some of ourplayers are away on international duty, so wont participate!some were just left back home

13:52 This afternoon Lazio will face Espanyol in a friendly game in Barcelona. Mancini has called these players:

Marchegiani, Concetti, Colonnese, Gottardi, Favalli, Negro, Oddo, Pancaro, Giannichedda, Castroman, D.Baggio, Liverani, Simeone, S.Inzaghi and Chiesa.

The roster was filled with three youth team players, Gazzi, Setaro and Ceccarelli.

How depressing...but espanyol couldn't even beat our reserves. Hahhahhahhaa

I reckon Espanyol to be a very strong team, in fact I am quite pleased for our reserves, managing to hold off such a strong team and judging from Espanyol's line up, we did very well.

Yes but don't forget we are using some players who have not played a long time and it is inevitable that their form could be a little poor but that could improve, I am sure in their next match.

mancio used thisgame for some experiments, he tried both Oddo and castroman on the left and simeone on center, he was impreessed by simeone perfomance and says he can completelyt switch him to acentral defender.

simeone says he is happy tochange postions

I hope this change of positions will grant Oddo more playing time, Oddo needs to start playing games because he has the potential, a very good wingback and a good crosser of the ball, Italia would benefit if he were to become a regular in the Lazio side.

I wonder if Raul Tamudo play in the game? He is a very good striker who I have watched many times this season in the La Liga, he is like Lopez, pacey but more clinical in front of goal.
