I have to say I saw it coming....
The way our NT has played lately, this was expected.

Not that Bulgaria is a bad team - they've recently dispatched both Croatia and Belgium - but really, a team like ours which pretends to have some caliber really should be able to defeat a team like Bulgaria on home turf in a friendly. Good thing the Wales match was postponed. We would've lost 0-3 or something...

Man, why!!!, Ok, if anyone saw the game tell me what we did, and how we did the usuall screw up on this. Wales is going to pound us if we don't get our act together!

Hey Guys,
I know this is the SCG/Bulgarian thread, but did anybody see that Germany game, I know we lost 1-0 but did we at least show some signs of improvement? I know this was just a friendly but we have to get a victory sooner or later in order to get the right formula for EC qualifiers. Darko Kovacevic said in an article in UEFA .com that if we don't beat Wales and the others it will look gloomy for the national team. Any thoughts on that or of the game with Germany.

We should have won the Game with Germany at least with 3:0 (we should've also beaten Bulgaria on chances). But lately our offense is pretty shitty, so that's the bad part (we create a lot of chances but don't score) . On the other hand we seem to have a very good defense (the Germans didn't have even ONE serious chance) and also a promising midfield. So we should be able to get 6 points out of Azer and Finland, but like I said, the offense worries me the most (especially with Mijatovic and Milosevic being called up all the time and Kovacevic playing absolutely shitty for our NT).

forgot,
thanks for the update, as you know we have a freindly with the England coming up, I wonder if were going to get into form for that game, what I don't understand Kova, and Keza are both doing well in their leagues as attackers what is that they can't do well for the NT? I don't know, but if the defense/midfeild is strong, then we need to have some sort of attacking in order to make EC'04. The only thing that worries me is that we do have quality strikers in the stonger leagues in Europe, but why arn't they shining in a national game??

I know it's the Bulgarian forum, but in regards to England, we did it again, another great screw job!! After we tied them in the last minutes of the game, we squander! That I think seems to be our whole problem, we do well throughout the game, but then we run out of gas in the end. We need someone who's going to have to drill those guys in endurance, because this we should of won or even tied. No excuse. :(

Well what does the above score really mean? That it was a friendly game, and it confirmed to many of us Serbs that Savicevic is a lousy unlicensed coach, and the only reason he got a chance to coach was that he had a friend in FSSICG, namely Dragan “Pixi” Stojkovic.
