View Full Version : Former Interisti
Former Interisti topic:
I watched Farynos and must say he's good. Tackled well, passed very well like creative, made couple of devastating shots. I am happy for him, but just wondering why he did not play that well in Inter?
watched over the weekend:
Seedorf in Milan game did not show much
Pirlo was awesome
Simic was quality too
R. Carlos was very good

Yeah, I saw that game Villareal vs. Real Madrid on Saturday. Villa were classy, one of the few teams I ever saw that dominated Real.
Farinos was great in that match and was given a standing ovation when he was replaced.
At Inter, well, Italy's a different league altogether. He just couldn't cope. That's why, if you noticed, Cuper preferred to play him in the UEFA Cup, rather than anything else.
agreed but still he was very good, he never been anything close tho this in Inter and even in Valencia.

This thread just brings needless pain...we all know the story: crap for Inter, then goes on to win glory for any other club.

Perhaps, but there are lots of "stars" who couldn't fit in Italy at all.
In fact, I believe Channel 4 has a special feature section on this only.

IMO, Farinos didn't get enough of a consistent run in the first team to establish himself. I'm not in the least bit surprised that he's doing well for Villareal. Good for him.

agreed.
I don't want to talk about pain we've done a lot of this as you mentioned.
Farynos has developed as a player partly in Inter too and when he proves himself good, this means that Inter "school" sorry to say was successful. So let's look at it from this perspective, former Inter players successes in another clubs.
propose everyone who watch former Inter player put his opinion about the guys performance.

Corradi was good also.
you can't play farinos, conceicao and emre together in our mids
thats the problem with our mids.. not enough aggression adn size.. we have a physically small mid you guys noticed.
like are any of them taller than 170??
We need some imposiung patrick vieira figure int eh middle of midfield.
Thats my opinion.. not sure if you agree with me tho.
we can buy Koller make him midfielder (he often plays AM in Dortmund) and this would do the trick :D

My friend once told me Inter is the black hole for football, no one knows why players end up being half their potential in the black and blue. I told him he's wrong, but when I look back on former players blossoming, I wonder

I have noticed that too, we don't have the physcial and power play in midfield as say Arsenal do (as said by Wenger), but I can't see how getting a patrick-esque type player will help Inter so simply, it's a matter of how they'll fit into Inter's formation and gel with the team. If they can win us games, put in matchwinning performances, I don't care if they're as big as Pikachu.
