Who is the better player?

Its very hard to prove whether Stankovic or Chiesa is the better player? Its a very contradicting question. Firstly, both Dejan and Enrico play in different position and this makes it very difficult to judge who is better. Secondly, they are both different type of players with different styles of play.

In 80s ALL expersts said that Maradona was the best player in the world.They did not say that Maradona was the best player in his position but that he is the best player.It is nonsense to say that players in diferent positons can not be compared.

Seriously at the moment he is a bit more important to us but when Chiesa gets his game to the highest level I wouldn't be so sure.

It is difficult to compare EC & Deki as was said, they play two entirely different positions. The reputation of Chiesa as a quality finisher at the highest level has been continued for Lazio, he has scored some big goals for us already.

But in the long-term, Stankovic is the more important player for Lazio to keep, Chiesa maybe has a couple of seasons left, but Deki is still young & can become one of the dominant midfielders in the world (if he already is not?)

Let's keep both of them & not decide!

right now dejan is better, but chiesa came back from injury so who knows, its hard

I dont see that a important thing to start a thread and begin to compare who the hell is better! the most important issue is that the team is performing well and start to pick up point to qualify for a place in the CL next season. if we want $$$$ , we must go and gain it ourselves & the way to gain it is by WINNING THE UEFA CUP AND A CL`S SPOT.

Its not crap to say that it can't be decided who is better due to the positions, it is just so very hard to decide. Just think about it, Chiesa is a quality goalscorer while Stankovic is a creative playmaker who provides and scores as well. But Chiesa is a well established player and strikes fear into every goalkeeper who plays against him while Stankovic is still developing and haven't reached his maximum potential but as sslaziomelopez said, it isn't really important to compare who is better as it is Lazio that matters. What for do we compare the players when it is both of them who will contribute to Lazio
