hey guys, I am new to Greek Soccer and want to learn a little about it.
So can anyone post any info about the league/ best players, english websites etc. who I should support?

who you should support has alot to do with your personality and ideals, really.

if you've looked up anything onteh web, come and post any questions you have, or any conclusion you've drawn.

I think either Olyimpakos or Panthinokos (spelling will come naturally after i decided whgich one to support)

if you decide, i personally would like to know what influenced your decision. not putting you on teh spot or anything like that, i'm just curious. is it domestic glory (olympiakos), european reputation(panathinaikos), team colors, favourite players?
is it their history? because they are the most popular?

to tell you the truth after I posted it on another board those 2 fans were the first to talk to me. They sent me websites about there team.

But to tell you the truth 3 weeks ago I couldnt name 2 greek teams or a single greek player. SO i am just trying to learn a little here.

If your looking to suport a greek soccer club your better of going for the clubs that have made it to the champions L , such as panathinaikos, olympiakos, aek athens, paok, aris. just type in www.pao.gr for panathinaikos ,olympiacos.gr, aek.gr and so on



look at how they play on espn during the champions L and decide who you want to support.

hope you chose the right club (panathinaikos)

I'm going to choose my Greek team after going to Greece next year. I figure whichever fans show me the best time is going to be the team I support :D
