Manchester is now one of the best cities in England. Remember the Commonwealth games. Ever heard of Manchester City and Manchester United. The nightlife here is great, great club scene. A small band called Oasis. Massive investment in the city. Universities. Imperial War Museum North. I could go on and on.
Tis pretty funny site though and probaly true twenty years ago.
Love it here, really love it.

Ever see the film "24 Hour Party People?" That's from the 80's Mad-chester scene, when the town was really a post-industrial dump, but what great bands! Now it's posh & all, the influence of the Chester yuppies & Man Utd. no doubt :D
