02/24/2003. Real Madrid striker Ronaldo says he wants to make peace with Inter after he controversially left the Italian club in the summer.

Many felt Ronaldo was wrong to leave the Nerazzurri after they had stuck with him through his many injury problems.

"I hope to make peace with Inter," he said. "I had an important relationship with the Nerazzurri, and the way it ended still makes me feel bad. Also for the fans, who were always with me in my worst periods, as well as for the club."

He then wished the club and president Massimo Moratti well: "They deserve the Scudetto. I hope truly that this is the good year."

exactly. i think he's scared that Real might cop on to the fact that he IL FATIBASTARD now rather than IL FENOMENO. and they might try sell him, and with his track record i can't see much of a rush to buy him.

Nah I doubted that very MUCH. He already won an INTERcontinental CUP FOR REAL MADRID!!!

La ligua is next and perhaps the Champions League...If he gets 25 goals this season...then he once again he will end up REY de Espaņa...(King of Spain) as he was labeled when he COMPLETELY dominated la ligua when he played for Barcelona.

Exactly. That's not to mention that the only way Ronaldo was playing in that game is because players like Raul, Zidane, MORIENTES and co won the CL last season. That lazy cherrypicker is gonna be riding on the rest of the squad's coattails the entire time he's there.
