I'm using it right now and it's fine, it's never slowed down my PC. Morpheus and Napster used to slow down my PC but Kazaa hasn't so far.
As for winmx, i had it for 8 days and i couldn't get one song off it.:confused: Needless to say i got rid of it.

The main reason for major slowdowns is lack of physical memory. I suspect you have less memory on 450 than on Athlon.
