Stefano Fiore claims he knows how Lazio can emerge from their current crisis and resume that splendid early season form.
“We are lacking concentration at the moment,” noted the midfielder. “It is an attitude problem as after taking the lead we always seem to sit back and start defending.”
The Biancocelesti have shown a tendency to lose leads and after going from 2-0 to 2-2 at Milan last Sunday, threw away another advantage for a 3-3 UEFA Cup draw with Wisla Krakow.
“The whole team must start to make the same sacrifices it did at the start of the season,” continued Italian international Fiore. “When Lazio play as a team, they are without equal.”
The Biancocelesti are still in the running for all three competitions, but face a tricky second leg test in the UEFA Cup and the Coppa Italia Semi-Finals against Roma.
“I don’t think qualification for either trophy is beyond our reach,” he concluded.
Lazio lost the first leg of their Coppa Semi 2-1 on home turf. The second leg in the Giallorossi side of the Stadio Olimpico is on April 16.
