I think Jerzy Dudek was outstanding as well as Sami, but Sami sneaks it on account of his goal.

The games for next week's award are Birmingham and Auxerre at home, let's hope some1 plays well against Auxerre cos they were all poor against Birmingham

Against Birmingham - I'd say the team mascott!!! Houllier said we have 10 days to salvage the season - and that we would see "something special"! We just got outplayed and beat by Brom - pretty special Gerrard! Another corner maybe? What a great prep for the worthy cup final!!! When will they see that this just isn't working????

I've decided to change this and give player of the week for last week to Sami. The embarrassment against Birmingham was so poor it doesn't deserve consideration. The games to be considered for this weeks player of the week are Auxerre and MAN U, let's hope that we have five or six candidated this time, and hopefully some of them are attackers.

Winner week one:Sami Hyypia.

My nomination for player of the week this week is Didi Hamann.I felt he settled the team and changed the pattern of the play against Auxerre and i thought he was great at Cardiff, completely out-playing Veron, working hard, tackling, passing and off course winning the ball and putting St.Michael through for the killer second goal.

I've been extremely lazy and not done this for a long time.

My players of the week so far this season are:

Week 1(Chelski, Villa) = Jerzy Dudek
Week 2(Spurs, E'ton) = El Hadji Diouf

My vote is for Jerzy Dudek, during the Arsenal game, the rear guards were practically day dreaming. Either they are dreaming the new sports cars they are getting with their obscene pay checks or thinking which girl they would like to 'roast' after the game. Wake up your bloody ideas Sammi Hyppia, Steve Finnan, Igor Biscan, John Riise. At the rate these clowns are letting goals slip in, we will never see the premiership title. Good Grief.

My player of the week for last week is Harry the Jewel. Outstanding against Arsenal.

As one of the top ten highest paid player in the EPL, he has to be outstanding every week and I feel he is below-par for his price.

Gerrard all the way as the outstanding player week after week.

Why in the hell are some of these posts from last year!? I'm starting to have ill-fated Houllier flashbacks.

As of this season, the best performer in a Liverpool shirt has been Jamie Carragher. He deserves to be the deputy to Stevie G more than Sami Hyypia. He is driven, determined, and disciplined in defense. I wish he had more chances to make an impression on the England side.

Other notables are Xabi Alonso and Djimi Traore. It's great that Traore has made such a turnaround. This time last year, we were all slating him. Now he is becoming a Kop favorite.

Nobody really played well yesterday, but I guess Stevie G must be player of the week after his heroics against Olympiakos.

It's actually a good thing Mellor is improving... Then, Liverpool wouldn't hv to worry even if Cisse or Baros are out... All the best to him!

Baros and Moro connected a few times.
Moro was more of a feeding man.
He flicked balls on for Baros to shoot.
I wonder how their relationship will be??

when cisse is back (next season) i belive we will adopt a new formation maybe a 3-5-2
or 3-4-3 because sinama has also being playing well and we will have La Tallac bak so we will need a new set up so Mori's relationship should be good with baros and the whole squad.

Yes, hopefully Moro will have a good relationship with Cisse and Baros by next season.
It is in a year or so.

If we play a 3-5-2 I think that we will have a lack of Defense.
As of now our defense is kinda shacky.
Hyypia, Pellegrino, Carragher, Riise, and Finnan are all prety good. I also think that Troare is going to be quite good.

We should stick with a 4-3-1-2 or a 4-1-3-2 or even a 4-4-1-1.
What do you think?

nah our problem is goals we are playing well defensivly we could not score 1 goals against man.u while we had a extra player for 25minutes so its the goal scoring side we need to work on ( no new players maybe AIMAR and SRNA but thats it who have both been scouted and sought after)

PS the Leeds GOALKEEPER WILL BE A GREAT SIGNING UNTIL CHRIS IS 100% ready for EPL.
