I think Ajax are in for a torrid night 2moro against the gunners as the Ajax team is a little young to cope with the talent availible to the Gunners, what do any Ajax fans feel about theupcoming game?

I seriously don`t think we stand a chance, our best player is out, Mido is also just added too players out for the match, we are lucky we can field enough players, we have a lot of injuries, but on the other hand thep layers fit and cause havoc too anyone, Zlatan is better than ever before, Pienaar is developing in the next VDV, Chivu had a bad match but will recover, Galasek will be good as always.

According too Koeman Arsenal is currently with Real Madrid the best team in Europe, he said more than once he tippes Arsenal for favourites too win the CL, he also said that they are better away than at home, so he fels we have some chances at Highbury, with the knowledge that Valencia away also gave us a point and that English teams are very suited too play against for Dutch teams, he doesn`t complain about the incredible amount of players we miss and is happy with our current squad, which is young but not inexperienced. all youth internationals, CL experience, Dutch league experience and because they play at Ajax Already equiped too deal with pressure.

We will probably loose big or suprise. I`m worried about our risky play but also mre at ease because of it, Arsenal could have problems playing a team which won`t give away much room too theo pposition.

I think we will play with this squad:

Lobont - Trabelsi - Pasanen - Chivu - Van Damme - Pienaar - Galasek - Maxwell or Boukhari - Witschge - Zlatan - Van der Meyde.

I`m curious if we will play 4-4-2 or 4-3-3, if we play 4-3-3 Boukhari will probably play, if we play 4-4-2 Maxwell will start.

Could also both play, if Koeman gets out Van Damme and play Maxwell as LB.

As soon as I hear the formation I will post it, I expect a great match for the viewers, but also a very stressfull one for me, between two teams I love, only not tomorrow. :)

Prediction is Arsenal - Ajax 2 - 0

I will sum it up how I see it:

+ Crowd advantage.
+ Key players could come back from injury/ squad ban. (VDV O`Brien and Mido)
+ We now know how Arsenal prefers too play and have insight in how too stop them.
+ Matches are soon after eachother, meaning that we can keep the memories of playing them in the right way fresh.
+ Pressure will be on Arsenal, weird as it sounds, we weren`t expected in the 2nd stage at the first place.

- Tough away match against Utrecht on sunday, could costs us, match is important for title/CL spot race too.
- Arsenal play away and won`t have too entertain a crowd, they can play pure for points, makes them much more dangerous.
- Probably want revanche.
- They know this is a key match for them.

More + than -, but the - are heavier.
Still I`m convinced this match will from our side be better, we will be moe in controll, just hope with security in defence, than I have a positive feeling about this match.

Pure for watching this match will be better than the one in London I reckon.

But hey, may the best team win. :)

And tonight?

2-2 is a fairly result. They have to be very cautious with Thierry....

I think that tomorrow we can definetly get a result, but only if we are focused the entire match. One weak moment and the same thing will happen as in the first minutes on Highbury, we can`t have that again. I hope for a true atmospheric Arena, and if all the people cheer enough they can push Ajax too victory, with or without Mido and even with or without VDV.

Arsenal seems under the impression we will have too make play but we don`t, we don`t have too go away too Valencia anymore, Arsenal do. They can`t risk drawing and us getting a win in Roma, who will probably by then will be out of CL competition. That would mean Arsenal would need a result at Valencia, where everybody knows it is very hard too get. They haven`t lost there in Europe for a while, and that is also a mental jumpstart.

We have a good chance if we work hard, play concentrated and get our crowd behind us, I go for atleast a draw and hope a win.

I go for 2 - 1. :)

PS, Please Koeman, don`t let Lobont start. :)

I think I have the same tape. :)
It is great but very though sometimes too see how little kids get told that they didn`t make it, but it does give a great insight in how it all works with a pro team like Ajax. They did choose the ideal year for a documentary, with all the problems we had that year.

Yes Chivu was crying because he got a red card I think, he was upset he couldn`t do more and with the decision I think, I will watch the tape again soon.

You made a good purchase JD.
