sranje, Mostar needs the two clubs and this is a shame. Now Zrinjski has the chance to avenge Leotar, we beat them in Mostar at the beggining of the season, now we have a tough assignment in the semi-finals.

Legijas you probably wont agree with me but it think that Mostar needs one team but a team that is a tough nut to crack, not 2 second grade teams. Mostar is one of the bigger cities in BiH and it is a shame that they don't have a representative challenging for the title... In my opionion they should merge into one team, i dont care let them even change the name or whatever, but because of politics and beurocratic bastards that will never happen and Velez will get relegated while Zeinjski will be somewhere in the middle

I don't see how they can merge into one club. There is a huge rivalry between the two. Velez has history but you have to continue it and they are not doing it. It is their bad luck if they lose 10-0 just like any club that falls like that. You cannot give them an advantage just because of the past.

I made a mistake actually. They are three points from relegation.

Two straight wins and Velez is in the midlle of the pack. That's how close it is in this league. It's pretty much a wild guess right now to see who will get relegated....

hmmm, Zrinjski was founded in 1905, Velez in 1922. Zrinjski won the first, second and third Mostar derby in 1923 and 24. Zrinjski has a longer history and wads Mostar's oldest and only club, named after the River Zrina.

Now the communists banned Zrinjski in 1945, we got our club back in 1992. Please educate yourself before posting absurd nonsence. I'd rather keep my pride than be a commie butt kisser like Velez was, now Zrinjski's back in town son, bye bye Velez.

This is a dumb argument, Velez is a communist club, Zrinjski wasn't, hence the banning of it. And we were founded MUCH before Velez was...

Just tryong to highlight the role of regime change on sports clubs, Zrinjski was banned in 1945 when the communists came to power, which is why tok never heard of it....

and please don't compare the NDH to Nazi Germany...our soldiers never crossed international borders in history.

I do think that they crossed international borders since they totally occupied Bosnia and Hercegovina. Further those soldiers exterminated jews, gypsies, a hell of a lot of Serbs AND those opposed to their regime in concentration camps comparable to those in Poland. Enough for ya?

hmmm, since Bosnia-Hercegovina was Croatia proper since the year 925 and the Bosnian Muslims were the biggest Croatians of all (read Handzar Divizija and Elitne Ustaske Postrojbe Sarajevo, Tuzla, Zenica, Bijelinja etc.) that was not an invasion...read up on your history, BiH was never a part of any Serbian state, though it was a part of every Croatian state untill the Ottoman invasion. It was returned after the liberation to Croatia and even the Serbian King acknowledged this by making Herceg-Bosna an integral part of the Banovina Hrvatska in 1936. But Croatia does not even ask for the annexed lands back and 98% of BiH's Croats voted for a free independent and soverign BiH. The Serbs on the other did not turn out for the elections in 1991, then proceded to start an invasion, occupation, genocide, ethnic cleansing and mass murder against Croatia and then BiH.

What would a Serb know anyhow? You've been spoonfed propaganda and myths all your lives, I don't expect much more...

Maybe you've forgotten about Serbian concentration camps Samijste and Bajnica, where thousands of Jews were liquidated, along with Bosniaks, Croatians and democratic Serbs under the Serbian Nazi regime of WWII?

Or maybe you've never heard of it? Or you chose to ignore it? Ironic how the Serbs blame everyone else when really they are much much more appaling. Croatia and the Bosniaks adopted Nazi laws in 1940, Serbia has had strict anti-semitic laws since the 1860s, it is a part of Serbian culture to hate, Croatias Jewish community condemned Serbian aggression and accapted the apologies from our governments for the 40,000 Jewish deaths by the NDH, the 30,000 Jews that perished in Serbia are still left without an apology.

Tens of thousands of Bosniaks and Croatians are still waiting for an apology from Serbia for her aggression and genocide in 1991. Montenegro's leader has sent heartfelt apologies and most real Montenegrins feel ashamed that their country was involved in massacres in BiH and the illegal and immoral bombing of the Croatian city of Dubrovnik (where there were NO military targets whatsoever!)

Crawl back into your hole Serb, your fiction and lies will not be remembered as fact. Not this time, too many have seen, too many reported and the world punished you accordingly.

oh...heuum...if Velez was kissing so much ass...why did they lost the League to Hajduk by a goal...in the 70's i belive..not really sure...

and the year before...they finished second to Zvezda by 3 pts which they gave to Dinamo so Dinamo wont fall in the 2nd league...im not sure bout this but its something like that...anyways the teams that REALLY kissed Politicans ass are Dinamo Zvezda Hajduk(even tho they are my 2nd fav team) and sometimes Zeljeznicar...

to brale....ali nije bas istina sve to o bosni ali volim kad neko ubija cede...onaj...prvo su BiH pas su poslje Hrvatsku...Baka mi je hrvat pa zato volim hrvatsku...ali vam nikad necu oprostit kad ste srusili stari most...nikad...
