It is your lack of defence that has caused your bad season. If Roeder was wise he would have signed a couple of defenders. Instead he buys an ageing, injury prone striker (Ferdinand) and a midfielder (Bowyer) why? O.k Bowyer is a good player but did you need a midfielder? What did he buy Ferdinand for? Sack Roeder now!

If ever there was a team that was too good to go down, West Ham would probably be it.
However, had Glenn Roeder been dismissed before Xmas, I think that they would have escaped with no trouble.
In a nutshell, West Ham's loyalty to Roeder has been their undoing... oh, and the fact that he really hasn't proved that he knows what he's doing!
Afterall, didn't he get the boot from QPR?
Can we have Cole and Carrick on your way down, please? ;)

So after the inevitable sacking of Glenn Roeder, who should replace him?
Personally, i think it's a bit late sacking him now... you might as well leave him to try and conjure up a trick or two to get you out of this mess!
Besides, the only bloke I know of who joins teams facing relegation is Terry Venables... and he's our manager!!
LMAO!

Accordin to a few Hammers I know, West Ham can't afford to sack Roeder.
Also if yez go down, Carrick is supposedly on his way 'home' to the Toon

Your biggist problem is going to be hanging on to your decent players next year.
