Youre a Sweden fan I garther so you would say that,"they were just friendlies "is just a get out Sweden are in decline under thier useless management team while Denmark have a bright future and you know it.

If Sweden are to get to Euro 2004 and make any sort of impression they must get a manager and start playing in a less negative way.

I hope that 2006 will be when this team comes of age.

Morten Olsen's contract expires after Germany 2006,lets hope he can go out in style unless he decides to stay on of course but assuming he doesnt who would you like to see as next Denmark manager,do you think Michael Laudrup is made for the job or is it too early to say?

Even though Laudrup had experience as assistant coach under Olsen, I think it's too early for him to take over the reins by 2006. He will eventually manage the national team though.
I'm not familiar with coaches or old players from DK, but I will choose Ebbe Skovdahl to replace Olsen. He seemed to have done a good job at Aberdeen. I might consider the boring Richard Moller Nielsen too, hehe :)

Yeah Skovdahl did a good job at Aberdeen but international football would be a big step up for him,the last two times the job has been avalible Roy Hodgson has been on the DBU's shortlist maybe next time he will get the job,he did a good job when manager of Switzerland and knows the Danish game having managed Copenhagen.I dont think anyone would welcome back Moller Nielsen and his dull tactics but lets remember he gave us our finest hour so for that he is a hero.

I donīt know too much about the Swedish National team so Iīd like to know which great players you have besides Henke Larsson and Frederik Ljungberg???
About Denmark I think the future looks very bright. We have 2 not so strong positions at the moment in which we need to find a solution very soon. We donīt have a real quality substitute to Thomas Sørensen in goal and the same goes for Ebbe Sand in attack. The only option we have in attack is to play Jon Dahl upfront. We donīt have any really good substitutes for them right now but I hope someone will emerge very soon. With all the great young players we have playing in the Danish superliga at the moment someone is bound to break thru very soon!! But in all other positions (especially attacking midfield) we have a lot of great players to choose between. As for manager after Olsen itīs pretty hard to say as thereīs still more than 3 years left of his contract. I hope Morten Olsen stays after that, but if he doesnīt I think we will get a foreign manager again with a former player as ass. manager.

Sweden dont even have Larsson now,he retired from intenational football after the World Cup,they may still have Ljunbjerg but as a team Denmark are far superior.
Youre right about the attacking situation, but I think Lovenkrands and Rommedahl could play there if needed, hopefully Peter Madsen will do well at Wolfsburg and therefore be good cover for Ebbe Sand.Midfield is without doubt our strongpoint,we are spoilt for choice and as you say we have alot of good young midfielders in the superliga.
What pleases me most about the way Morten Olsen has transformed Denmark is that we play an exiting attacking style, not seen since Olsen played himself as captain yet still are disiplined and are hard to beat, this is the perfect blend if you ask me.Morten Olsen was a hero as a player for Denmark and is now as manager in my opinion and I would like him the job for many years to come.
