Out injured are Carsten Jancker, Jens Nowotny, Christian Ziege and Gerald Asamoah.
Do you guys rate Asamoah? I think he's a very poor player

I agree with you I think he's alot worse than his number of caps makes him appear. He lacks finesse and is very inconsistent in his performances.

Agreed ! Was he the 1st black player to play for Germany btw? I also remember you had a Brasilian striker playing for you - Paolo Rink. I think he's at Wolfsburg now

He was the first African-born player! We lready had a coloured player in Jimmy Hartwig.
You're right in that Paolo Rink used to be a national player (God knows why) but after littel more than half a season in Nuremberg. He wennt to Cottbus for free. However there is a former Leverkusen Brasilian at Wolfsburg his name is RObson Ponte.

Spain 3 - Germany 1
Raul became Spain's record goalscorer (surpassing Hierro) with 2 goals tonight , Guti scored the last. I wonder if Bobic knew anything about his goal? It was quite lucky ;)
And Jeremies almost chipped Iker Cassilas from very far out ,but hit the crossbar! I didn't think that was in Jeremies' game :D

Yeah, that Jeremies chip was beautiful, but our game was better than the result makes it look. We were in the game, till we subbed us out of the game changing the system with every substitution. However it was good to see Tobias Rau, Hanno Balitsch and especially Benny Lauth make their debut.
