Vedran Runje posted another clean sheet today as Marseille join Dado Prso's Monaco at the top of the French First division. Prso also scored a goal in yesterdays 2-0 win.
Now, I know what Runje's problem with the NT is...he wants to be #1 and arguably he has shown that he may deserve the #1 spot. Pletikosa on the other hand has played very well and I'm sure that almost all Croatian NT fans feel very comfortable with him in goal. So Runje not playing for the NT is not a big deal. As for Prso, I know very little about him other than what he has done for Monaco in recent years. He shows quality attacking skills and can find the net. With Croatia's attacking woes in the recent past I am wondering why he is overlooked for the NT?
Does he not want to play for Croatia? Just doesn't get thought of by the selector? Not in the NT's player pool? Something else? I find it strange that this guy rarely gets spoken about even though he does very well for a respected European club.
