Looks like Leeds are looking like they are lacking in the defence department for tonights game against Gillingham. With Matteo, Radebe and Lucic all out, it seems we will see Duberry and 19-year-old Kilgallon as our centre backs.

Apparently Radebe slipped while taking the bins and aggrevated his knee injury. I never knew taking the bins out was so dangerous.

Although to be honest Woodgate wouldn't have played anyway 'cos he's injured too. If Kilgallon plays, I hope he does well, he's had a lot of good stuff said about him and he was always going to be the next youngster after Milner to break into the first team (and he's already played once as a sub). But I'm not sure he quite expected his big chance to come so soon.

do you not think that Mills and Duberry is more likely given the importance of the game??is Raul Bravo starting tonight??he's a good player, you did well to get him for the rest of the season.

Raul doesn't qualify for tonight's game. He didn't register in time. I think he should be available for the weekend game against West Ham.

Venables said that he could play a Mills, Duberry pairing but apparently Kilgallon is already training with Duberry and is the more likely pairing with Mills as right back. Kilgallon isn't that bad though and he's been highly rated for a while now. I just hpe he can come up with the goods.

SO Ian Harte at left-back??sounds dodgy to be honest,a poor left-back,an unproven centre-back and a player who has missed most of the past 3 years beside him,and then Dangerous DANNY kicking all in sight and competing with Smith for the early bath competition

He could play:

Kelly, Mills, Duberry, Hart

Although that isn't much better. Basically he has to make a back four (if he decides to play four at the back) out of:

Kelly, Mills, Duberry, Hart, Kilgallon and Richardson.

Doesn't look good :(

Richardson's pretty good. He's an Under-20 England International (but then again so are a lot of teens at this level). I don't really know much more about him though.

P.s. are we the only ones who post on this borad? Everyone else seems to have disapeared.

Cheeky!

Yesterday was an upset waiting to happen but we got through. Looks like our injured defenders turned out alright after all. So, Rule, what are your predictions for tonight? I really don't see us getting past you lot at Anfield if you get through.

i reckon if we play Baros and Heskey, a 2-0 is likely. No Gerrard though,he's suspended but luckily DIDI is back so it's all good.

Should be a good match at Anfield if we get through.Just a pity Houllier is a muppet or Harry kewell would be playing for us and Woodie would still be with you

So, where do you think Raul Bravo will play? Left back or left wing? Madrid seems to have him penciled as a more offensive player.

Venables likes to play people in different positions. And since the squad isn't the biggest, I'm guessing it will be a mixture of both (depending on who's been sold that week).

Looks like we are meeting Palace in the next round. What the hell went wrong Rule? At least you got the score right? ;)

I really think we can this one. Going to Anfield would have benn a disadvanatage psychologically. But here we (sort of) have the upper hand. I just hope that if we have a good cup run, it doesn't save Peter Ridsdales arse. He has tried to 'live the dream' and failed, time for him to go and someone else to take over. If he was the manager and he had made decisions that put his club in this position he would have been out of the door a long time ago.
