but of course. he is briliant and one of my favourite players. ever since i went and saw him on his day of the 'unveiling' as a newcastle player ive liked him. and now he is showing everyone else why they shud like him too. hes been very good in recent games and i cant see that changing. :)

Aye, JJ's a marvellous player and when he's playing with his twin Dyer our midfield is tough.....

Toon legend in the making. If he does well he should displace Gerrard from the England XI.

him and Jermaine Pennant used to play up front for some Nottingham based kids team -
apparently their goalscoring partnership was awesome

Jenas imo is better than Dyer, calmer on the ball with the same limitless energy. Hope Viera and Gilberto can contain him this afternoon. BIG GAME - Viera has clearly dominated Gerrard over the handful of games they have played against each other, interesting for England to see if JJ can hold his own against a couple of world cup winners.

both were anonymous 1st half
when robert was sent off and sirBobby switched to 4-4-1 with dyer and bellamy on the wings Dyer really kicked on and started to play well (covered acres of ground yesterday!) but jj and gilberto cancelled each other out a bit, they were both rather invisible

Well it's testament to JJ that he could cancel a World Cup winner out.

Under Bobby Robsons guidance Jermaine Jenas will develop into a top class midfielder

That was one of the worst penalties I've ever seen, simply awful.

Jenas is basic and way over rated, too light wieght and offers nothing, and dyer 2 goals at home in roughly 2 years is awful, think the two of them are the most over rated players in the league, decent, but cant see where all this hype comes from

Newcastle's Search For A Replacement For The Faltering Titus Bramble Has Led Them To Two Division One Central Defenders.

Wales International Danny Gabbidon Is Rated At £6m And B.robson Is Interested In Bringing Him To St James Park. However, The Magpies Face Tough Competition From Arsenal As They Are Also Interested In Gabbidon As An Addition To Their Weak Defence.

Another Newcastle Target Is England U21 Star Michael Dawson, Who Is Currently Also Being Tracked By The Big Three (man U, Arsenal And Liverpool). Sven Goran Eriksson Has Already Earmarked Dawson As A Future England Regular, Inviting Him To Train With The Senior Squad Recently.

Which, If Any Of These Two Defenders, Do You Think Will Be A Success In The Premiership?
