Do u pple think it's a sad thing for Danish football that for 4 seasons already no Superliga club has been playing in the Champions League? And the last time a Danish club was represented in 98/99, Brondby were basically steamrollered (remember those tennis scorelines inflicted by Man U?).
Meanwhile a Norwegian club which incidentally beat BIF in the CL qualifying phase this season has been making the rounds in this competition.
Is there something wrong with the standard of club football in DK?

The Danish league is poor at the moment,I think its because as soon as A team has A good player A club in England or Italy buys them this is a good for the Danish national team but is making the league weaker and teams like Brondby and FC Copenhagen just cant compete in Europe.

has a Scandinavian league been proposed? I can't remember if it has.
Competition against the top Norweigan, Swedish teams etc would make things interesting and compeititive

They have already planned the league. It includes the best teams of Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. Not surpirisingly, Iceland and Finland are out.
I'll tell you more later, I have to go and see the Finland Euro qualification game now...

It's a pity, if the league is lacking the best Finnish clubs. For sure, they would do well against the other scandinavians. What is more, it would do good also for the league to have more teams and nationalities.

It is a pity. But Finland is not in Scandinavia...and it is a bit far to travel...

Well, there are two ways to define the position of Finland. The way which is used more often says that Finland is a part of Scandinavia, although in the border area. The other way is to define Finland as a Baltic country. For me, when knowing the history of Finland, Finland is a scandinavian country.
What comes to the distances, you can learn them from below. They shouldn't be a problem, unless one is travelling by bus.:)
Copenhagen - Stockholm 526 km <-> Helsinki - Stockholm 396 km
Copenhagen - Oslo 481 km <-> Helsinki - Oslo 790 km
Helsinki - Copenhagen 850 km

Well I guess I cant say much to that...I just found out today that Denmark isnt a Scandinavian country in the traditional (if you can call it that) sence. Thats only Sweden and Norway....
The biggest problem with the big distance is for the fans. I dont think many finnish fans will be looking forward to a trip to Denmark, and vice versa. But I guess itll be bad enough for the other countries...
