I'm coming to Amsterdam whatever, hoping to get tickets from Arsenal
but that's looking dodgy
does anyone have any idea of how I can buy (2) tickets to this match?
I know it's supposed to be sold out I was thinking of a tout or something?

What do you mean?
You mean you need tickets too sit with the homecrowd?
You meant passepartout?

JD

I'll sit anywhere - I like u support both teams
whats passepartout? a ticket tout in England is someone who buys tickets then sells them on for a profit. In America they are called scalpers.

Oh know, passepartout is something different, you are not looking for that.

I can`t say people are going too do that.
I don`t know, how are the ticket sales going for the away seats?
No more available?

the complications of getting tickets nowadays
when I was a kid it was who got there first in the queue

Applied for tickets but Ajax gave us only 2,000
a certain amount of them a distributed directly through the club, players etc.
a large amount go to members of the away match ticket scheme (away match season ticket basically) and this leaves a small amount to be auctioned amongst season ticket holders priority going to those who have been to the most away games. the key is this only counts away games you buy your ticket through the club. So by this criteria I only have 12 matches on my away match ticket file (12tickets from club for away games in 2 years). And the box office is now claiming you need 20 to be guaranteed!

So after extensive internet searching I was recommended an Amsterdam ticket broker (by the USA Ajax fan club - cool people)
I've paid through the nose but apparently the seats are bang on the halfway line (£100 per ticket - 300 euro's for 2!!)
but hey
if the arsenal tickets do come through I'll just sell them on
and I NEEDED TO KNOW I was going
I'm really looking forward to going 2 great clubs whatever the result I'll be glad to have seen it.

Ajax USA fansite is indeed a very good site with nice people, I`m there too. :)

They have a lot of information on Ajax travels and ticket sales very usefull. I searched it out once too, but that thread is I think erased. Costed me days. :(:(

It is very difficult too get tickets nowadays, here in Holland too.
Prices are outrageous, Ajax isn`t exactly encouraging young people too come too the stadium. Prices are insane.

I have 2 tickets for the game at Highbury in a couple of weeks that I would like to swap for 2 tickets for the game in Amsterdam the following week. This is a genuine offer so please email me if interested? I will be going away for the weekend on Friday afternoon and returning on Monday.

VDV won`t play against Arsenal for sure, it is too risky, O`Brien looks cear too go though and also Mido is back with the team.

Ajax is expected too start with the same line up as a week ago.

Sorry for the poor game, but the atmosphere must have been great. How were the supporters towards eachother? I saw in pictures of London Ajax and Arsenal fans together in a Arsenal pub.

Atleast you enjoyed the trip.

brilliant atmosphere between the fans but the police are idiots
we were kept outside for the first half hour
no explanation given before or after
no apology
they blocked the entry gates with riot police
blocked the caged exit to the section with a van and a row of mounted police

trapped and contained us and actually ignored all questions
wankers, it nearly all kicked off simply because of how poorly the situation was handled
people where as angry about the rudeness and lack of information as they were about missing the first half hour

unbelievable unacceptable ineptitude - they couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery

as I said excellent atmosphere between the (loud!) ajax fans and us before during and after the game. Dennis got a standing ovation when subbed (not fo his performance). I met a lot of cool ajax fans in amstersam and enjoyed the trip though.
F*ck the police

I`m surprised their was police since I hear nothing else than that we have a huge lack of police on the streets. :D:D

Probably were all watching the match. :)

I know, I saw the match live, was only online for the break. was a good match, Van Bronckhorst should get more matches. Jeffers was a bit disappointing.

Gio will now
Ashley's out for 6weeks and GVB is our natural replacement
(although Wenger says Lauren, Luzhny and Cygan can play there too)
do u know what the Ajax limp arm celebration is about?
