Newcastle were a bit unlucky, i'm certain Lualua's shot crossed the line that time and Bellamy had a couple of great chances to equalise as well. It was one of the most exciting matches i've seen in a long time.
Some of the comments from Jonathan Peare during commentary on the game were hilarious.
This match has got more turning points than an RAC skid pan test

tis deeply disappointing and although we can now concentrate on other matters id rather we were atill in it or at least went ot more admirably than we appear to have done. by all accounts we let oursleves down and its no wonder bobby is soo cross. hope they pull themselves together sharpish.

Well, next year will be Sir Bobby's last in charge of the Toon, so hoprefully we'll have won a trophy under him.

It's gotta happen damm it. He's a winner. He's won trophys everywhere he's been (PSV,Sporting Lisbon,Porto,Barca,Ipswich etc). Hopefully we can add the Toon to that list.

Alright we went out the cup, but did anyone see what Bellamy said to the Wolves fans after the game?!

Well as some of you may know/didn't know, Kevin Muscat nearly ended his carreer a few years back when he played for Norwich at Wolves, with a VERY BAD CAREER THREATENING tackle. And they were taunting him throughout the game about it

Bellas got his own back by pointing to his Toon badge (to the Wolves supporters), and sayin
