I think that he is very young player and very talanted.I am sure that in the future many big teams will want him!Also he might become one of the best strikers in the world!

I rate Berbatov pretty high, hes young and hes good......
But if he doesnt score, than i dont think, that any european teams will go for him, at least not yet....

If he gets back to his form from the last year, he will become one of the best, at least in europe

I totally agree with Mpenza. The last season Berbatov impressed in the Champion-League and in the Bundesliga, as well. However, it may be possible that he then profited from the good run of the whole team and especially from the other two prlofic strikers, Oliver Neuville and Ulf Kirsten at his side. Now, the first one is only a shade of the last season and the second one has retired.
So Berbatov has to do more on his own. In this regard, I think that it is still asked too much of him for he still is very young and has a kind of unstable character which needs to be consolidate to consolidate his play performances, too.

as good as crespo and Vieri?,my got you lot are stupid,He is an average player,who plays for an average team in an average league,he has some potential but he is nothing more than a squad player.He won't develop into a world-class striker and even Toppmueller said last year that he was better on the right of midfield,he played against us last year in the CL,and even with Ballack,Neuville,Basturk and Ze Roberto supporting him,he was still crap.

I think that Dimitar Berbatov can reach much. I think he is good player. It's true that in euro 2004 he did't do much but you can say that he is bad player only because of these 3 matches! I like his play , and maybe hi is not one of the biggest now but he can become if he take pains.

I am really a great fan. I love football. Berbatov is my favourite. The man I also admire is Martin petrov. I think Bulgaria has the subjects but not the objective power to show who we really are:)

I like Berba, but he's out of form these days. He, basturk and fransa are all just shadows of their old selves. After the winterbreak, leverkusen have played horrible football. Hope they get their act together in time for the return leg at home against liverpool.

he is currently out of form, but his earlier performance against real in cl was good. before the winter break he, was playing some good football. but now he is totally out of form. Infact, i thin I can generalise that for whole leverkusen team.

Berbatov is amazing. I just wish he scored against Hravatia when we lost 3-1. If he scored, and our goal had not been disallowed, 3-3. eh kakvo da pravish, sadiete vinagi priebevat malkete darjave. Makaay already has 5 and Bayern played only 2 games so far. ;) He has a realistic, if not the best chance to be leading scorer. :)

Also many others like Heynkes, Rummenigge...
The last one who was close to scoring so many goals was Ailton 2 years ago.He had 28.
This year it should be Maakay if he dont has bad luck with injuries.
I dont think Podolski can be contender cause he plays many games in the midfield and cologne is not strong enough.
