Dissapointed that we're out but still very proud of the boys. We are the first Greek team to remain unbeaten in the Champions League and first team ever to draw all 6 games. We didn't play well enough to win but it would have been hilarious if we stole it at the end. lets hope for a good UEFA Cup run now....

6 games, 6 ties, 6 points...good job, and your group was strong with Real and Roma in it.
3rd place not bad, you get a spot in the UEFA Cup, but now stop the ties because you need the wins.

I am very dissapointed too.I think that AEK deserved to qualify because they played very well in all the games.They were always better than the team they are playibg against!I hope they play very good in UEFA CUP!

Well I was in Olympico (Byzantium can confirm that for you! I won our star strikers contest! He was offering 3 tickets all costs payed to Rome and I won! :D )

Great night for AEK and us who followed the team! Of course we were helped a little by the ref but we did not know that untill we saw the highlights back in the hotel... But I cannot explain to you what happened in the AEK stands when we scored! Great night!

To be honest we blew our chances of advancing with our own missed chances at home against Genk and Roma! We have noone to blame! And I still cannot see going out of CL as fair after those results against Real! Who's gonna score 5 past them for gods sake!?

Anyway...

Now we play MAccabi in the UEFA cup... hopefully we will be able to instruck our Red friends (olympiakos supporters) hn how it is done! :cool:

AEK feel exactly what their results show....in the middle. A draw is a draw, you didn;t win, but you didn't lose. This is how AEK left the CL. But in my opinion, they should be in the 2nd round. Don't get me wrong, they played well, and should feel no shame. But, they could and should have advanced...
