Great win for RM! The team played perfect. Villarreal only got a goal from a penalty that wasn't a penalty. This makes it 5 wins in a row for Real. I think we can make it 6 wins in a row next game against Real Sociedad.
Player of the match I gotta admit was Ronaldo. He scored the first goal, and gave the assist to M. Salgado for the second. Zidane was also great :D

The first half we were struggling. Our midfield seemed not to get one right.
In the second half though things changed and Zidane and Ronaldo had their moment of magic. Later Ronaldo tranformed an uncalled penalty (dumbass of a referee) into an assist for Salgado. After that I don't know what happened. There was a short mess with the substitutions and then I saw Ronaldo go out for Helguerra. I mean it's ok to play defense, but why sub Ronaldo. we could have got rid of Raul. If we did that maybe Zidane wouldn't have got the red card.
I don't know, but Luxa sometimes has these weird narcotic decisions that have messed us up more than enough. Benching Ronaldo and Zidane against Biblao, subbing Zidane against Juventus, etc...

Yeah and I am pretty sure it is just a coincidence that Barca has 7 penalties and we have 3. It just happens that when Barca is losing they get a penalty somehow. It reminds me the Juventus of the last 15 years. All those ties and wins in the last 30 seconds...

The last is when Ronaldo missed penalty against Depo .... very very long time ago - last year .
The 1st goal by Ronaldo is masterpiece by Zidane , he tricked 3 or 4 players b4 giving beautiful connection for Ronaldo .
2nd by Salgado is actually was coz by Ronaldo's magic .
With Zidane is not around the playmaker maybe between in form Beck and Gravensen .
Thinking that we are gonna play without Salgado , Samuel against REAL SOCIEDAD .... I think I am not gonna watch the match ..... it is not gonna be good for my heart :p

Figo-------------------------------Solari

----Ronaldo--------------Owen----------

I just found at the probable the lineup for the game at marca.com
Real Madrid: Iker Casillas; Celades, Pavón, Helguera, Roberto Carlos; Beckham, Gravesen, Raúl, Solari; Owen y Ronaldo.
I was right, like i said 3 defenders :)
beckham will be playing in Salgado's position.
I think the team will be
--------------casillas
beckham - helgera - pavon - carlos
-------------gravesen
zidane-----raul--------solari
------ronaldo----owen

Player of the match = Guti . Why? Two assists that ended in goals.

La Liga: Magnificent Seven for Real
MADRID, May 7 (Reuters) - Real Madrid kept up the pressure on leaders Barcelona by notching up their seventh win in a row with a crushing 5-0 victory at home to lowly Racing Santander on Saturday.
A neatly worked goal from Michael Owen and a penalty from Ronaldo set Real on the way in the first half. Skipper Raul capped his best performance of the season with a second-half double and Ronaldo completed an emphatic win with a fine solo effort in stoppage time.
The victory left Real three points behind Barcelona with three games to play after this weekend's matches.
The Catalans have the additional advantage of knowing that if the two teams finish level on points at the end of the season they will win the title thanks to their better head-to-head record.
Barca do not play until Sunday but have a tough away match against last season's champions Valencia who need a win to boost their chances of earning a Champions League place.
Earlier Real Mallorca's hopes of avoiding relegation were dealt a serious blow when a late header from striker Savo Milosevic allowed Osasuna to snatch a 1-1 draw at El Sadar.
The result left Mallorca three points behind Levante, who are just above the relegation zone and play fellow strugglers Albacete on Sunday.
Athletic Bilbao boosted their hopes of claiming a European place with a 2-0 home win over Real Zaragoza that pushed the Basque side up into eighth in the table.
Real took the lead against a timid-looking Racing when they completed a lightning break with a slickly worked goal just before the half hour.
Raul raced through the midfield, lofted the ball over the Racing defence to Ronaldo who cut a first-time pass back towards Owen and the England striker scored his 12th goal of the season when he guided with the outside of his foot.
Five minutes later Real were awarded a controversial penalty when referee Eduardo Iturralde Gonzalez penalised Racing keeper Aouate after he palmed the ball away from Ronaldo and collided with the Brazilian striker who had gone in with his foot high.
Ronaldo scored his 100th league goal in Spain when he hit the spot-kick high into the net.
Raul added a third when he drilled home after Aouate had palmed a Roberto Carlos cross into his path eight minutes after the break.
The Real skipper then fired a low shot into the corner after Owen had picked him out on the edge of the area.
Ronaldo put the icing on the cake in stoppage time when he scored his 20th of the season, rounding Aouate with a trademark shimmy and rolling the ball into the empty net after a perfectly weighted through ball from substitute Luis Figo.

oh!!!!!!!!¨¨ i saw all the goals now on the site!!! oh ok so let me tell u how it was ;)
First goal Owen- Great pass from Raul, he passed over two defenders and then ball went to Ronaldo and he was at the edge so he passed to Owen and he scored :)
Second goal ronaldo- They just show when goalkeeper hit ronaldo and after ronaldo went on the right then defender also hit him so of course it was penalty :D
Third goal Raul!!-Nothing special :) Carlos had a shot and then after goalkeeper saved it, then raul shoot from about 15m away from goal and scored :)
Fourth goal Rau!!!-oh oh!!!!! Somebody passed to Raul in the space and with only one touch he shot beautifully and scored... he could also pass to Owen but anyway he cored such a great ball.. it was about 30 mt-s away from the goal!!! oh!!
Fifth goal Ronaldo- hey!!! i didn't like this one!! so... somebody passed greatly to ronaldo and then him and Owen ran to the goal wothout any defenders alone... Ronaldo tricked and passed goalkeeper and then Owen was alone next to te goal but he didn't pass, and defenders ere so close, if he passed to Owen it was 100% goal. But anyway it's good too because he is gonna beat Eto'o :)
so that's how goals were :) i got them from the site where u can't see the link but when I'll get it from the one where u can I'll show u guys :) I think u know the sites too :D

Anyways, if Barca tie with Levant, lose to Villarreal, and then tie with Sociedad I'd not only start thanking god every night, but start going to church every day.
We've got Sevilla this weekend, Atletico after that, and then Zaragoza.
I predict that Sevilla will be hard, Atletico medium i.e. 3-1, and then Zaragoza an easy match.
Either way, we should get atleast 7 points out of these matches. Though, that isn't enough to take Barca over unless the loose every match.

Barca don't deserve to be the champions, at least not based on what I saw on today's game.....they won the Liga just because we couldn't keep the pace before, because we are playing a lot better than them now.

I would prefer a hat-trick from Ronaldo. He said that he will keep fighting for El Pichichi. The thing is that he can fight for the Golden Shoe as well if he gets the Pichichi. He is only 5 goals away in two games. 6 goals would be awesome in the last 2 games. We play A.Madrid and Zaragosa. It shouldn't be that difficult...

Real Zaragoza 1-3 Real Madrid: FT Report
PA
ZARAGOZA, May 28 (Primera Liga) - Real Madrid ended another disappointing season with a win at Real Zaragoza.
Michael Owen, whose England colleagues were playing in Chicago against the United States in a friendly, put Real ahead after 22 minutes only for Oscar Gonzalez to equalise just before the break for Zaragoza.
Second-half goals from Brazilian pair Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo sealed victory for Wanderley Luxemburgo's side who for a second consecutive campaign have failed to win a major trophy with Barcelona having already clinched the Primera Liga crown.
After 14 minutes, Zaragoza's David Villa spurned a good chance when he smashed an easy chance over the crossbar.
Owen made Villa pay for his profligacy when he gave Real the lead with the former Liverpool hitman scored from close range after Luis Garcia had spilled a Zinedine Zidane shot.
However, Zaragoza then conjured up a brilliant equaliser when Oscar made a run through the Madrid defence and played a one-two with Villa before crashing home his shot.
Luis Figo replaced Owen at the break with the Portuguese international possibly playing for Madrid for the last time since his controversial transfer from arch-rivals Barcelona in 2000.
Another fine move involving Oscar and Villa could have put Zaragoza in front but this time Villa failed to find Oscar with his return ball and the chance went begging for the home side.
Then Roberto Carlos struck with a fine goal which was started by Zidane when he fed Raul on the right side of the area and he beat two defenders with a sliderule pass for the Brazilian who thundered a left-footed shot past Luis Garcia.
Roberto Carlos could then have scored his second goal of the night when he seized onto a loose backpass but his attempted lob went over the bar to the relief of Luis Garcia.
The goalkeeper made partial amends minutes later when he made a flying save to deny Figo the fairytale farewell to the Bernabeu.
Real were on top now and Guti then stole the ball off Gabriel Milito and played the ball to Ronaldo but the Brazilian World Cup hero showed too much of the ball to Luis Garcia who did well to make the block.
At the other end Luciano Galletti almost put the hosts back on terms when he split the Madrid defence with a fine run but his weak shot was easily handled by visiting goalkeeper Iker Casillas.
The match was finally decided in the dying seconds of the game as Ronaldo grabbed the third.
It was a dreadful error from Luis Garcia who took his eyes off the ball and allowed a backpass to slip under his foot and the Brazilian took full advantage to score into an empty net.
It was a downbeat end to another mediocre season for a team whose performances have not lived up to the hype.

What do you think about tha game?? I only coud watch the 1st half, and I think Madrid is still underperfoming, for playing against a newly promoted team, the score was too low......
And I saw a few plays of Robinho (including the goal), and he was amazing, but hear me out, that is not even half of what he can do, expect better things to come.....
And Baptista played crap too, he was feeling like out of place.....which is totally understood.

And Robinho will have his spot, eventually.....for now let the kid get used to his new life.....and Baptista, from what I saw of him he was bad, but he's also playing in a diffrent spot he's used to, and also he was used to be the main character in Sevilla, now in Real he's just a normal one.....

Well, friends; tomorrow the best Real in 3 years is facing the best Atletico in... ¿6 years? ¿Ten?
And Real is doing a better performance both as a whole and individually. Torres scored 5 goals out of 2 matches; but if he's OK with he's team he's awful with the NT; so now that he is OK with the NT...
Besides, Ronie, Ramos and Zizou scored this week, so, considering the fact that Ronaldo ALWAYS scores when facing Patético, and that Torres NEVER scores against Casillas, I think on three results: 0-3, 1-4, 1-5.

I really hope what you are saying is true but seriously man Rosenborg and the other clubs that we have faced so far aren't even close to Chelsea, AC Milan, Juventus or Bayern Munich, and we lost 3-0 to Lyon!
So don't get too excited and jynx us, we still need to beat Lyon before we can even start comparing ourselves to the more powerfull clubs in the CL.

We'll line up like this against Getafe:
Casillas
Diogo - Helguera - Mejia - Carlos
Becks - Pablo - Guti - Baptista
Ronaldo - Robinho
They played against Real Madrid C today. Seemed to have worked well.

Point?
Now are you trying to say that Real Madrid C are a good opponent? I hope not. In fact, I doubt any players from the senior squad played hard. Don't be so ignorant. Unless of course you traveled to Madrid to watch the match...then you can go ahead and say that Real Madrid played hard and team from one of the many 3rd division sectors walked all over them. Right? ;)
Barca's Xavi out for 6 months due to knee operation.. joy? :o

Nah....Barca can handle it without him.....
And guys what do you think about the coming game againts Getafe?? I think it'll be a relatively easy match and we should win, by a big margin....

I can see Getafe putting up a strong fight. Local rivalry. Riki to score for them, I bet. Then Pernia to have a good match.

it was a good match, for once real actually defended well, this could be a turn around on our defense

I really believe that, if we have courage and strenght, we can win the CUP!!!!!!!!!! but we have to be with them like never before! like in the game with zaragoza! in that way, winning always, maybe we can have a wonderful year!
