Unbelievable game obviously. I am a bit pissed off though with South's second half. It would have been nice to reverse the scoreline from a couple of years back when they hit us for six. Anyway with the attacking flair we showed today we can be contenders. We have now given Perth and Olympic their first losses, the knights will be next....
go south

It is a really close season this year isn't it? Last season Perth totally dominated the league and it looked like Olympic would do the same this season but in this league any team can win on any given day which is excellent. I was wondering has Boutsianis returned to South. When on form he is the best player in the league.

Boutsianis has not returned and many fans dont want him to since he has left us so many times. I agree that he is the most talented player in Australia but he has some personal problems he needs to work out. As for the league, it is too early to make predictions but i agree that it is much closer this season and more exciting.

It is exciting in terms of the closeness in the standings but in terms of the football played in the few games I have seen it is anything but. I suppose we in Wollongong were spoilt by the team which dominated the league a few years ago and played brilliant football. The current team has the capacity once they have gelled to be a good outfit but unfortunately it hasn't happened yet.
Shame about Boutsianis. He does seem to have some issues being involved in that robbery (wasn't it?) and that whole Kingz episode. Any players to keep an eye on at South aside from Kisnorbo?

Peter Buljan has been simply BRILLIANT this year, he has transformed into a totally different player from last season. Michael Baird is a youngster with a very bright future aswell as 'mini-mas', Murdocca. The problem is our ageing defence but we were missing Kisnorbo when we conceeded 4 to Olympic. The bad news is he will most definately leave soon, a talent like that doesn't stay at home that long....
