OK,so please tell me now, how can you have so many leagues,...

You have:

Spanish League Cup
Spanish Supercup
Spanish Copa del Rey
Spanish Championship

So please tell me, in Germany you have only 3 cups,...

The League, the King´s Cup and the Super Cup. That´s all for national championships. Barça, however, plays the Catalunya Cup for (duh) Catalan teams.

We had the league cup in spain only for 4 years:

here's the winner list:
1983-FC Barcelona
1984-Real Valadolid
1985-Real Madrid
1986-FC Barcelona

As Juan mentioned, in some spanish regions there's also a competition for regional cups, the Copa Catalunya in Barça's case, that we won in 1991, 1993 and 2000
Current Catalunyachampions are second divisioners Terassa.

In germany there are League Cup, Cup and League, as well as regional cups but proffesional teams don't play in those.

Take a trip to Brazil. They have like 20 tournaments or something.

Yeah ... that's quite confusion. I once tried to find out what the big clubs are in Brazil but I failed to put priorities on a certain championship in my studies. Pele's FC Santos for example never won the national championship but the Libertadorss-cup twice.
Confusing, confusing ... ;)

Yes, they have at least 2 league championships. It's a big country, but hell Russia only has 1 league!

That is why, like OAnimal told me, they are trying to have ONE unique Champ. In Brazil.
IMO this will give more stability and credibility.

Plus all the Russians teams are pretty close to each other. Kinda like ARG. Buenos Aires has like 18 teams! Kidding, but the city has more than one for sure. :silly: :D :)

Stuff in Brazil is crazy. Just check Championship Manager and see all the Brazilian competitions available.

I think it's only been four teams who played for that trophy yearly ... but I'm not sure. :)

If the rules in Spain are the same as they are in the UK for finite tournaments, that should mean the Spanish League Cup is Sitting in the Nou Camp right now!

Buenos Aires is a wierd place for football. Everyone thinks of the "SuperClassico" between Boca and River, but roughly half (at least) of the entire Argentine league plays their football there!!!

Of course I'm serious. Dortmund are the 6 Time, 6 Time, 6 Time, 6 Time, 6 Time, 6 Time Champions of Germany!!

What didn't you get about the Boca River thing?
