Underachievers...

I think most people would agree that Spain are the classic underachievers. They almost always have a strong team and much is expected of them in competitions but they usually fail and were particularly bad in France98. They have won the Euro Cup before, maybe they can do it again. I think they have a great chance, but I wouldn't bet on them since they are like the title of this post says.

I think that Spain are big underachievers. They are such a talented side, but they seem to always choke. Who knows what will happen this summer? Maybe they will pull something off and their confidence will sky-rocket? What was bad was seeing them demolish Bulgaria 6-1, and still not make it into the next round.
