I've been checking out his goals from last season (bjk.com). The kid is absolutely PHENOMENAL...I don't know what we did to deserve him...thank you Mr. and Mrs. Mansiz.

That`s a shame!!!
I predicted not less then 8:0. A dozen goals could be acceptible.
I`ll never understand why we Turks can celebrate such a shame!
Liechtenstein got a population of 32.000 heads. This is a tiny village.
Just one or two players are professionals.
The whole rest are medicians, teachers, farmers... etc. And we poor big Turkish folks win "just" 5:0.
Such a shame!!

That's being a little too hard on the Liechtensteiners, hey UEFA puts them in our group it's not our fault. well in every group you have your guppies. Funny post anyways Fair but I bet you they score against England.

Manny...Okan got one of the goals! i wouldnt exactly call 5-0 bad....not bad at all...i know the real test will be when they play England.....but a win is a win..

You are right it was a good win, but against a team like England. Turkey can't afford to waste chances like the ones Arif, Okan and Nihat missed yesterday.
But hopefully they will be more focused in the mathces against England. :)

I imagine they will take England more seriously...i mean....i am sure they took that game seriously..but they played leichtenstein...they are not exactly a football superpower. They had a good win yesterday...and what matters most, is that they are in 1st place in group 7....

We were mesiing around after we made it 3-0, you could see the change of pace after that Ilhan goal. You better believe we take England seriously they are the only team capable of taking the top spot from us, but how funny would it be if England ended up 3rd in the group? I think Erikkson will probably change the goalie which is better for us because the poor guy will have so much pressure on him. But we dont see one thing and that's how important Rustu is to our team. That guy is just phenomenal. I'm so scared that he will get injured. Another thing is that our central defense is very weak, it's been weak the whole World Cup and is still off. We have to improve that even though England dont really have a major striker threat.

The only problem of our national team is we haven't any good strikers and our defensive midfielder Tugay doesn't help defenders in the game.
