Ortega might be going to River Plate according to some transfer rumors. What do you think about this?

I think he should go. Even though he is a very talented player, I don't think he's good enough for Serie A. His problem is he's too small. It's one thing to be short, but he isn't strong enough. If he at least had some size like other small players he could do well, but he's just too wimpy to succeed. He goes down too easy. I remember when Parma played my beloved Milan, there was a scramble for the ball and Boban came in, Ortega ran into his back, and went down like a sack of potatoes. For him it was like running into a wall. :D It was so funny to see :D :D

It's too bad for him, but what can you do? That's life.

He's a strong little guy. Or maybe I should say his head's strong. Need I refresh memories. . .? :)

Gambine you like to say nonsense. Ortega is a great player but couldnt adapt in the first years in Italian Serie A as other could do. He is small.AND?????
Maradona how tall was it?
He was short and with a great ability in his legs. Ortega is like him. But as he couldnt win in his first years you want to send him to Argentina. He is getting his experience and now is learning when to give the ball. He is too ambicious and this will play positively for Parma in this year.
Besides, Ortega is better than Veron as his replacement. Parma isn't a contra offensive team. That's where Veron plays good.
Gambini take a ride and talk about women football

Thanks Juve Fan, but I think you know as much as I do about football.

amiroyoma, you can't compare Ortega with Maradona.

They're both short, but Maradona wasn't small, he was stalky. Ortega is small, he can get bumped around easily.

Salas is also short, but he's strong.

My point was that Ortega is not strong enough. Possibly as a striker he could succeed, but not as a midfielder. He likes to play as a playmaker, for that you need strength. You have to be able to control the flow of the game. Orgeta CAN'T do that.

BTW Orgeta doesn't compare to Veron, how flattered Ortega would be if he heard such nonsense. :p

To Juventus Fan: You can't talk about nothing. You cheet, your players are cowards and you can get a ride with your mother.

To Gambine: I love Maradona. And I can compare it with Ortega. Maradona was the best football player.

Malesani didn't adapt Ortega in his right position. That's the problem. Ortega needs to play free. He doesnt have to be tied to a place. When Pasarella put him like this in the 1996 Olimpic and Prolimpic Games, Argentina won all the games minus the final with Nigeria. The fowards where always Crespo and Claudio Lopez, and always two goals where scored by them in each game they played.
Its Malesani's problem to get Ortega free. And ask Van der Saar if Ortega doesnt have strenght enough.

I don't think a headbutt signifies strength, do you? You obviously do. If you had read my post carefully, you would see that I said Ortega wants to be a playmaker, which means he'd have a free role. What I'm saying is he can't DO it. It's your opinion that he can, but he hasn't shown it. Malesani doesn't give him a free role, because he's not good enough to play a free role. He's got good dribbling skills, and speed, but he can be easily muscled off the ball. Like my original post said, when he ran into Boban, he fell flat on his face, like he ran straight into a brick wall. Do you really think he can play a free role and control the flow of the game?? He wanted to fill Veron's shoes, but couldn't do it, and never will be able to.

Let me stress that again that you can't compare Ortega with Maradona. That's a joke, and you're a joke.

As for your stupid comment to Juve FAn, about getting a ride with his mother, you're not gonna last here very long with that kind of talk.

If you have a different opinion, just state it, and leave the 10 year old talk in the playground.

gambine, whats this dude talking about ? Whats cheet ?? and why are our players cowards ??
Anyways you know, gambine, I always have a theory about the insults. Only 10 year old kids reply in that way because they are all excited about the new words they learned at high school and think they are cool if they say them. Mature people I know dont talk that way, anyways I am just worried if his daddy reads his post, he might not allow him to surf the net again heheheh

Gambine, true true, comparing Maradona to Ortega is a big joke. That headbutt wasnt strong at all, but Van der Sar made it look so to give Ortega a red Card, if this was a wrestling Arena Sar would have kicked Ortegas ass. Maradona was strong, talented and skillful.... I just look at people saying "Ortega, the new maradona" and laugh really hard, they wish its true but if you ask me other players can be more maradonas than Ortega hismelf. In short Ortega is an ordinary football player, not much.

Idiots only can compare Ortega to MAradona and that only shows one thing: They didnt watch Maradona long enough, or dont understand football at all.

EVERYBODY can be compared to Maradona.

After all, troughout the history, people were compared to GODS, right?

But there's only ONE.

Ortega is a fine player, but not good enough to be as selfish as he is.
