Liverpool have 4 stars on the European shirts for their 4 European Cup wins - it will be rather embarrasing for them in Real win the CL this year and put 1star on next seasons shirt to represent 10 European Cup wins!

I dont know about the stars. But Some times is just the team logo.

sp1873 is right. It means national championships. Juve have 2 stars for their 26 championships. Are you sure that Live poll have 4 because of the European cup trohies?

Yeah every 10 Scudetti = 1 Star. Also 4 clubs have the UEFA Badge of Distinction on their European shirts. Bayern, Ajax, Milan and Real Madrid have them because of they've either won 5 European Cups or 3 in a row. Liverpool has 4 stars to signify their 4 European Cups, but they'll get that badge should they win another one. Real Madrid will probably get some super big star and gold plated badges with sparkles on their shirts if they win another European Cup.
