An important match for both teams...Ajax will propably go looking for a draw (?), but Inter has to win this one.
My guess is Inter 2 - Ajax 1.
BTW, what's with Litmanen again? He was substituted after playing just ten minutes last weekend. If it's an injury I hope it won't prevent him playing on wednesday.

He palyed just for 7(!) minutes and in that time he gave an assist on Zlatan. After 7 minutes he was substituted due to a minor hamstring injury. Koeman didn`t want to risk it, with the Inter match coming. Looks like he will be fit to play against Inter.
My prediction.
Inter - Ajax 1-1
I know this is more based on hope than on rational thoughts.
I have a feeling we will either be tottaly humiliated or play very well. Key is, can our defensive line control Vieiri and Crespo.
I truly doubt it. Not Chivu, but more Pasanen or Bergdolmo. Whoever plays against Inter (I hope Bergdolmo)
I think we will play more defensive probably 4-4-2. But I can`t imagine Ajax going for a draw. I can`t remember if we ever did that. Ofcourse we will be more careful, but we always play to win.
Lets keep it that way. :)
Could be just me, but I always find it hard to predict how Inter plays, good or bad.

Well I should have guessed...another 1-0. That's why it's sometimes good to be a supporter of an Italian team.
Inter sucked, Ajax played much better...but Inter won. I'm happy about the result, but not about the match, which was unimaginative and boring.

Inter are strong defensively with Cuper's system and their defenders. Not a bad result for Ajax IMO. They went to the San Siro with injuries to key players and only lost 1-0 on a very well taken goal by Crespo. Koeman was pleased with the result and it showed Ajax can play with the big boys.

It's not an easy group, but it's still wide open. They have arguably their most difficult away match under their belt.

The reason I`m disappointed is because we could have gotten more from this match. I know the way the Italians won is a quality, but it is so frustrating to lose from an Italian side. If they would have whiped the floor with us, I could have accepted it, but I truly think we deserved more.
But considering we missed our best player (Van der Vaart) and John O`Brien, we did quite well. Litmanen wasn`t fit either, althought he played 90 minutes. Hopefully Van der Vaart will be fit for the match against Inter at home. We do miss him, even thought we played very well today, Inter away is very difficult and for such a young group they did well.
At home we should beat inter Lyon and Rosenborg away will be very difficult. Rosenborg at home should be possible to.
