We are playing well but the media hype is well over the top. It reminds me ogf how the english press used to talk about ManYoo - the best team ever in the history of footabll etc etc. This is just silly - The Auxerre was a tight match that we shaded even though their defence of Boumsong and Mexes kept our forward line very quiet and Benjani (or mwaurani he seems to wear one name in the league and another in th CL) nearly stole a draw with a great effort that seaman just touched on2 the bar yet the commentator was talking about total dominance!? against Bolton we totally dominated the game against atotally defence team of spoilers and time wasters (how bizarre is it that Campo's red after 2bookables has been downgraded, he could have been yellow carded 6 times! and so could Jaaskelainen who apparently wasted about 5minutes on each goal kick) but we have to remeber we only won with an injury time goal that could easily have been called offside. Against Chelsea and West Ham we showed amazing spirit and strength to come back and claim draws but they are games we could easily have lost - we r not indestructible. Look at our fixtures so far we have played all of the current bottom 6 and all3 promoted teams at home(2 of them in the bottom6) + the relegation battlers Sunderland, Charlton, West Ham and Bolton.

This season really reminds me of a '91 role reversal- Liverpool streaked away at the beginning (they won 8 and drew 1 of their 1st 9 games even better than our start this year) while Arsenal playing negative football stayed unbeaten but were drawing games they were expected2 win. That Liverpool team of Dalglish's was feted as the best in the world and won nothing (the nearest the scousers have got to the title since then is 2nd last season).

As mr Wolf said lets not start sucking each others cocks just yet
