Will we sign a big player

I wonder if we will sign a big player this off season. It seems like everybody else will. Last season we got Sheva, but nobody else really.

We have the money, and definately the need to new players. As long as we're smart about it, and don't spend too much. I hope we get at least one big name player.


Right now, we only really have Sheva, Boban and Paolo as our "stars". Bierhoff to an extent, but not like these guys.

milan has to think .. we are in trouble .. costacurta is gone .. leonardo will leave .. Boban !! you know his situation :( Maldini is getting old .. we need 1 more striker .. and we dont have great midfielders!!! ... something is wrong with this team .. why cant they think right?! and if they are thinking of building a new players then they would lose thier reputation first.. do you think we can handle the next season with this team ?! .. if so .. we will not be in the CL next year .. look at the other clubs .. already signed strong players ... for example Lazio or roma or i think juve ! how are we going to beat them ? by luck or should i say by mistake from them ? even the small clubs are being hard to beat !!!!!

Milan has to think right or they'er gonna lose their reputation .. am i right or not .. what do you think guys ?

I agree with you 100%. I think a lot of Milan fans like to fool themselves into believing we have a strong team. IT's time to make some changes, or the CL is gonna be no better than this past season. :(

You are 101% right. What I wanted to say is (I am a bit nostalgic) taht Milan will hardly put together team like it was at the end of 80. The best team of Milan in past 15-20 years was team With Gulitt, Rijkard and (The best striker in last 20 years) Marco van Basten! I know you would blame me, but this is my opinion!

No I'd agree with you on that. The late 80's and early 90's really were our glory days :) I hope to see them back, but a team like that is hard to build, especially in this day, where players leave clubs regularly. It's hard to get that chemistry.

No, you guys are completely right. It's wrong to convince ourselves that we have a great squad. I mean it's godo and everything but not good enough. We don't have a bigger chance @ lo Scudetto with our squad right now. I want to ask you guys, which area (forwards, midfielders, keeper, defense) of our squad needs the most improving?

I think it's kind of a toss up between defender and midfield. Without Boban in midfield, they can't function. There's some promising players there like Gattuso and Ambrosini, but they're not ready to take the load on their shoulders.

In defence we only have Maldini now. Billy is gone, but was getting old anyway. Maldini isn't young himself. Both these areas need some drastic improvement.


Oh man even up front we're lacking. Sheva is great no doubt, but Mari needs more time to develop, and Bierhoff, well he's Bierhoff, what can you say about him.


Improvements are needed in all areas, if we are to contend next season.

You can't have a team in which Maldini, Boban, Sheva and Abiatti are the only stars. Not at this level, not in Milan.

You are right .. but i would go for the midfield cuz leonardo is old and always gets injuerd and albartini cant do it alone ! .. besides midfielders are the only players or the only position that can control the defence and the forwards .. and we already signed some new defenders and they have not been tested yet... and if they wont get strong midfielders .. then i should say poor sheva :(

i'm just wondering about transfers .. do you know when is the deadline for transfers .. i heard it already passed ?!! is that true ?

The summer transfer season is from July 1 to September 28th. I'm not sure which deadline you mean.
