Who is currently AC Milan's best player ?
Sheva ? Bierhoff (doubt it) ? Maldini ?

I'd say Sheva for sure. Guys like Maldini and Boban are more important to the team, because they are role players and have more responsibility, but Sheva is the best right now.

After all he won the golden boot in Italy in his first season, you can't get better than that ;)

Of course not, Sheva is a king to Ukranians. I remember him dribbling half the barcelona defense when he played Kiev-Barcelona in CL. He is great...I dont value Maldini that much, neither Boban. I value guys like Albertini way more.

With out a doubt Boban is the most important memeber of the team. As goes Boban, so goes Milan.

I just read an interview in World Soccer magazine where Shevchenko himself talks about the "greatness" of Boban, and how he creates everything for him...

Shevchenko scores, Maldina defends, and Boban does the rest! Remember the Lazio game? Boban at his greatest!!!!

What game were you watching? Did you see him use the Lazio midfiels-particularily Veron-as his pilons? Didn't you see the skill displayed?

Come on Mihj-Boban played a superb game there-even without scoring two goals...I know you hate Croats-but if you love football-that my friend was a classic Boban game..

Boban is a marvelous player for us, and so is Sheva. All the players are important in a way, but Sheva is a scoring machine, so I think he is the best. Although scoring isn't everything, I'd still give em mi vote. Maldidni is a great defender, Boban also great player.

Yeah that was a classic Boban game. It's hard to say who is the outright best, everybody has a role to play.


Maldini is the leader of the defence, you can't win unless you prevent goals.

Boban sets up the goals, and without him in midfield, we get walked all over.

Sheva is the man who scores the goals, and he scores a lot of em.


Don't mind Miha, he thinks he's number because he's got the most posts :p

then again Zvonimir, I dont know what to say, I watched the game, I saw the penalties, which were taken good, he was good on the field over all, there...some credit , satisfied croatian "friend" ? :D

I think a very honourable mention has to go to Abbiati. Not many goaltenders get the glory, but he's been great for us this season. It was sad to see Rossi lose his spot, but I guess that's life.
