hey of course i know this is a football forum but recently i started to like baketball very much.and Turkey will be in baketball world cup 2002 in indianapolis.
i dont know who we will paly with?can anyone help?and explain our chance?
we did a great job in 2001 basketball euro champion to take second place.

we have a good chance.yeah brazil has beated us in mini world cup tournament in istanbul.
so it would be hard to play with them.and you heard thatmichael jordan called to us national team?that can be a nice tournament

They not only beat us once in that tournament , they beat us twice I swear our Basketball team is the same way as our futbol. Too bad there isn't a Senegal, South Korean or Japanese team in the tournament. Or maybe there is a Japan I don't know.

Lithuania? really? I watched the game we had against them in the mini warm up tournament and we beat them by like 20 points or so, USA will win and Yugoslavia might challenge them. We will definitely get by Puerto Rico and Lebanon and we should beat Brazil too cause in that mini tournament Hidayet,Mehmet Okur, Ibrahim Kutluay didn't play so that's why we lost, I think it was a technical decision so that Brazil didn't see how our good guys were.

Turkoglu,Turkcan,Okur,Kutluay and others are excellent..

but they have a great team with allot of players from NBA...

Yugoslav team to...allot of NBA stars....

Puerto Rico will be a thought opponent..

Lebanon to they have 2 NBA players I think

Spanish team can make a good WC too...

meanwhile will greece be there?
and roberto swedish people quite tall but i dont hear anything about swedish basketball.
