In an interview with reporters, Bierhoff has said that he wants to stay with Milan next season. He says he's not used to being on the bench, but will work hard during the week to regain his starting spot.
He said he doesn't want to go back to Udine, and if he did leave Milan, he'd go to another country and play.
Hopefully, this is a sign that a fire has been lit in Bierhoff and he will start to perform to his abilities, and make a bigger contribution to Milan :)
