Well, Miha has been banned for 2 games in the CL, and has been fined for $50,000 by Lazio, while Vieira who also said racist stuff to Mihajlovic was not banned, and was not fined anything.

Mihajlovic about why he called Vieira black: "That's the first thing that came on my mind, I could have said he was a French full of s**t. I didn't call him monkey as he says because he doesn't look like one. If he had looked like one, maybe I would have called him monkey."

Damn miha, I was going to post the same thing !!

Anyways, here is the article from Dailysoccer.com

NYON, Switzerland (Reuters)(DS) - Arsenal's Gilles Grimandi was banned for three matches and Sinisa
Mihajlovic of Lazio two on Friday following incidents in Tuesday's Champions League match in Rome.
French midfielder Grimandi was suspended by UEFA for striking Lazio's Argentine player Diego
Simeone in the face.
Yugoslav defender Mihajlovic was ruled out for racist abuse.
Lazio were additionally fined 70,000 Swiss francs (27,000 pounds) because objects were thrown at
players and match officials and for the role played by Juan Veron and Simeone in incidents at the end
of the match.
Arsenal were fined 20,000 Swiss francs (8,000 pounds) for arriving on the pitch three minutes late
before the kick-off and for having to be asked three times before they emerged from the dressing
room after the interval.
"Mihajlovic has been suspended as a result of sustained racist insults directed at Arsenal FC
players throughout the match," said a UEFA statement.
"The Yugoslav player admitted the verbal abuse, alleging he had previously been provoked.
"UEFA considers this to be a serious violation of the sporting principles wich it has always
defended, especially bearing in mind the grossly humiliating nature of the verbal abuse."
Mihajlovic told a news conference in Rome on Wednesday he had insulted Arsenal's black
midfielder Patrick Vieira but said he had been provoked and denied he was a racist.
"Yes, it's true, I said 'black shit' but he provoked me by saying 'gypsy shit'," Mihaljlovic said.
"I called him black but I might just as well have called him French. If I'm a racist then at this point so
is he for calling me gypsy."
Simeone suffered a cut above the left eye which needed medical treatment and, although the
referee had not seen the off-the-ball incident which occurred at a corner in the 57th minute, UEFA had
applied the sanction for "an act of assault".

Miha, there are lots of things that we dont know about, as you said some people say mihajlovic called him a monkey, some say he called Vieira black shit, some people say ... e.t.c. .. Someone must be lying at this point, wither Mihajlovic or Vieira.

But Mihajlovic admitted it on National T.V. that he called Vieira "black man, full of shit", and that he did not call Vieira a monkey, but if he looked like one, he would have called him a monkey. Vieira on the other side, did not say anything, just blamed Miha, while Miha also said that he was called Serb Bastard and Serb Gypsy by Vieira. I guess black people have permission to call white persons names, because if they would be banned or fined, that would be RACIST, wouldnt it Juve Fan ?!?

I dont know, and never knew why its still considered a VERY sensitive case.. I mean cant we all live together ?? Insulting a black man is like insulting another white/yellow man ?? However the problem is that some sick people in general still have things against non-white people..

Anyways, NO, if they (UEFA) found that its necessary to fine or ban Vieira they would have done it without second thoughts.. Its not like they are scared and if they really think it would be considered RACISM to ban Vieira then they are truly racists i.e. against blacks, since they still believe there is a difference between blacks and whites.

He has advantage because he's French. There is no more sports here, it's all about politics. This makes me sad.
