Fabien Carini's move from Juventus to Arsenal is in doubt after it was discovered that personal terms have not been agreed.
The goalkeeper, who has already played in two pre-season games for the Gunners, could return to Italy if the problem is unresolved, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes that this could happen.
He told the London Evening Standard, "He has not yet been registered because he has not yet signed his contract. We were under the impression that personal terms had been agreed but that has turned out not to be the case. We will know in the next 48 hours if the matter will be resolved. But I have to say I am not optimistic and if he returns to Juventus then I have a problem."
