Galatasaray are after the Croatian Maradonna Milan Baros from Liverpool he is 21 years-old Ahmet Ceyhan will watch him and if he likes him we will make an offer to Liverpool this reasoable transfer as Liverpool has too many strikers like Heskey, Owen,El-Hadji Diof. If Ahmet Ceyhan does not like Baros(which I doubt but you never know he didn't like Nanni) we will get Cameroonian NT striker Patrick Mboma on a free transfer we have agreed all terms with him so it is up to us.

Milan Baros - Liverpool
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Position: Forward
Date of birth: Wednesday 28th October 1981
Age: 20 yrs
Signed from: Banik Ostrava
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Baros is widely regarded as one fo the most talented young strikers in the world. Although Banik Ostrava narrowly avoided relegation at the end of the 2000-01 season and Baros himself managed just four league goals, during the previous two years he shone for the Czech Republic Under-21 side, scoring nine goals in 14 games.
In April 2001 he was given his first call-up by senior coach Jozef Chovanec for the Czechs' friendly against Belgium and he cancelled out the Belgians' first-half lead with a late equaliser.
Two months later he got the last of the Czechs' three goals against Northern Ireland in a World Cup qualifier. In both games he looked very sharp and was a real threat.
Baros attracted interest from Juventus and Internazionale, but signed for Liverpool for £3.2 million in the summer of 2001. However, he was immediately loaned back to Ostrava because he was told he needed to play in more internationals to be granted a work permit to play in Britain.
Liverpool fans may see the young forward as the ideal understudy to Michael Owen, but Baros is anxious to play more than a bit-part at Anfield.
Baros possesses many similar qualities to Owen. He is small and rarely squanders a chance in front of goal. Baros does not score too many goals from outside the penalty area, but he has a remarkable knack of being in the right place at the right time.
Owen certainly shades Baros in the speed stakes, but the Czech star is no slouch and is much harder to shake off the ball. The olive-skinned hit-man has a muscular build. He was finally granted a work permit in December 2001, allowing him to join the Reds permanently, but spent his early months growing frustrated on the bench under caretaker coach Phil Thompson.
He Says: "For me, it will be excellent to play with Patrick [Berger] and Vladimir [Smicer] on a regular basis. I've always admired the English league and I used to say to myself that it would be quite something if I could play in it. It would be like a dream come true."
- on joining Liverpool, August 2001.

Patrick Mboma - Sunderland
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Position: Forward
Date of birth: Sunday 15th November 1970
Age: 31 yrs
Birthplace: Douala, Cameroon
Height: 1.85m
Weight: 85kg
Signed from: Parma
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mboma signed for Sunderland on loan in February 2002 hoping to kick-start a career which had stalled over the previous 12 months. But after just seven games for the Wearsiders, in which he scored once, Mboma was released.
The burly forward was once the undisputed king of African football, having scored one of the goals in the Nations Cup final victory over Nigeria in 2000, and then won Olympic gold later the same year. He was duly crowned African Footballer of the Year.
Mboma, born in Douala in 1970, was a late developer on the international stage. He only made his international debut in 1996, at the age of 25.
After years of failing to secure a regular place at Paris Saint-Germain (the French club constantly loaned him out), he moved to Japan in 1997. Mboma was an overnight success in the J-League, with 25 goals in 28 starts for Gamba Osaka.
A place in the Indomitable Lions squad for France 98 was secured, and this was followed by a move to Italy, where Mboma scored 15 goals in 40 games for Cagliari across two seasons.
When Cagliari were relegated at the end of 1999-2000, Parma signed him. Six goals in 27 games followed. He fell out of favour during the 2001-02 season, however, and made just four Serie A appearances before signing for Sunderland.
Despite his lean spell at club level, he continued to prove productive for his national side, netting eight times in the successful World Cup qualifying campaign, including a hat-trick in Libya.
He then added three more in the 2002 African Nations Cup as Cameroon went on to retain their African title.
He Says: "I am confident about myself after the African Nations Cup, but I know it will be different here and harder. First I will have to introduce myself to my team-mates and then seduce Peter Reid. After that I hope things will be OK for me. I hope to stay for a number of years."
"It was very difficult in Italy, it is a tactical war every Sunday and it is very difficult to score there. But I still had some good moments. I will try to do my best here and score as many goals as possible - I am very very confident." - on joining Sunderland, February 2002
"Economically and socially they have given the country a new lease of life. The people have not been this happy for a long time. For years, we won nothing and, especially for our generation, it was becoming a matter of tremendous concern. Cameroon people live for football. It is the only game that unites the country and there is a lot of young talent out there who look to us for inspiration. Now we want to continue to dominate African football for years to come."
– on Cameroon's 2000 African Nations Cup triumph
"It is impossible to compare me with Milla. Let me tell you something many people probably don't know. When I was invited to the national team, I deliberately shunned the No 9 jersey, to avert the pressure that goes with it. There is a wide difference between the legend and me. I am bigger, taller, faster while he was more intelligent, cunning, and stronger." - on comparisons with Roger Milla, 2000
