I think that's cause he only managed Ajax for about half the season. I think that's tough to do though, much less being able to nab two trophies in the process.

Van Bommel for me meant the most to his team of the players mentioned. Van Hooijdonk was a close second for me as he scored a lot of goals, 7 from free kicks showing he is more than a target man. Zoetebier had 16 clean sheets and was under a lot of pressure having to fill Jerzy Dudek's shoes (no wonder Feyenoord were willing to sell Dudek). Mido was great for Ajax and didn't even get that much playing time. Van Marwijk did very well to take Feyenoord to the Uefa Cup finals much less win it. They had a lot of fixtures and the stiffest competition in the Uefa Cup.
