Is now the most expensive Australian ever signed after completing his move from Empoli to Parma for 13 million. It will be great to see Australians in Serie A next season with Kalac and Grella also playing for Italian clubs.

Any smaller sized Italian or any other European clubs looking for a bargain signing should go after Chipperfield. He was the best player in the NSL the last two seasons he played overshadowing Emerton who is attracting much greater interest. Angelo Costanzo is another player who I think could make an impact overseas.
