Wales have some good players but I think Giggs and Bellamy stand out as the best

I always thought it was a pity that Wales had a poor defence/midfield in the mid to late eighties as they had as good a choice of strikers and goalkeeper as anyone in the world.

Mark Hughes, Ian Rush, Dean Saunders and Neville Southall.

They also had one World Class defender in Kevin Ratcliffe.

I thought he was a disastrous signing after his Coventry days, but Sir Bobby picked a gem of a signing, and proved most of us fans wrong. the foreign lads on there might not have heard much of Bellamy, but he's a class act! Lets hope he destroys Juve's defence in the CL;)

well being very very biased (hes my fave player of all time) id say gary speed. always gives his all, is a great captain and has adpated well to his role at left back.
also due to biases id say craig bellamy but only to the same extent as i would simon davies and robbie savage. these players for me have the correct combination of passion and skill. to me these are the most important aspects that make them great. ryan giggs for me has always given around 80%. still, with the results and the bigger games you can only expect him to start wanting to play for us.

Yep, for me it has to be Giggs. He has a wealth of skill and experience, best player from Wales for a long time.
The Welsh may not have made Portugal but I back them to qualify for Germany 2006! :thumbsup:
