I think Lazio is taking the culture out of the game :( I remember the prez saying that no player will spend their whole career in Lazio. Not only is that a slap in the face to the players, but it's basically saying that you should have no loyalty to us, because we don't have any to you.

With the racist problems in the fans,(although it's not just Lazio fans and I realize that) and the way the players behaved at half time when Milan beat Lazio 2-1. It was despicable. Yes, that's the perfect word for it.

Football in general is heading towards a state where the culture of the game will change for the worse in my opinion, and I think Lazio is leading the race, even instigated it. :mad: There's nothin Italian about that team to me :mad:

I don't know how many Italians are actually Lazio supporters, but it's not what I meant.

What I meant is that Lazio is trying to reach the level of a Milan, Inter and a Juve. They want it so bad, and probably even think they are at that level. We got where we are by a very different road.

It's kind of hard for me to put into words but let me give you a statement and maybe you'll understand what I mean.

I already told you why. I don't like the approach they take to the game. Cragnotti even said no player will spend his career at Lazio. A few years down the road, he'll say thanks Nesta, you've bled for Lazio your whole career, but here's your plane ticket and see you later, much later.

If he has the chance to, he'll sell as many players as it takes to get Rivaldo. He'll be willing to let Rivaldo come in and take over Veron's role, whether Veron goes or not. Your own countryman Stankovic isn't doing much at Lazio these days. Is this why he went there, to ride the bench and not develop?

b) winning the UEFA Cup, which is a possibility, but now without Chivu, a very remote one

You know what i think Lazio has already succeded in is that we are really starting to show that we can beat anyone, Last season we had problems defeating teams like Lecce and we lost quite a few points from Draws against small teams, But against large teams we really seem great. I think some of our key games will be against small mid table and relegation battling teams and everyone thinks they will be easy but usually they get a point. From what we have seen in round one we have showed that Lazio can become a superpower in europe but seeing how we peform in Champions League can prove us to be even stronger. Time will tell
