the guy earns like 9$ million a season right? something like that......but the problem here is where he is gonna play next season????
IF he'll play.....i know guys......IF......cuz we are probably gonna sign Left Winger KILY....so the left side is allready "busy"....
some people say that he is a STRIKER.....but we got VIERALDO on front....so is the Molti-MILLIONER is gonna spend time on the BENCH......i don't think so....i mean he is one of the most great players in the world......and he's got the second most powerfull left foot....after ROBERTO.....:D ....but i guess thats still not enough for elchino to secure his place in the starting 11....sad....but true....
another possibility is that cuper will change his formation from the classic 4-4-2 to a 4-3-1-2.....and that will give recoba a chance to play behind the best strikers in the world.....sounds MURDEROUS to me but go convince cuper to change the 4-4-2 system...
i don't think he'll change all of his way of playing only to insure that recoba will play....i think its too risky.....

about Alvaro....hes very talented and have one of the best left legs of the hole planet...hes very fast too and with good pasing BUT theres a serious issues like you said massimo..hes not a starter and posibly wont be...trying him on the left is a bad move he cant defend..as simply as he doesnt born to do that in soccer..the only chance that i look for him is to use that formation you posted moratti...4-3-1-2 haveing him as a trequartista but cuper wont change that thas for sure and based on the money he earn and the numbers of chances he reciebe on the first XI am affraid he probably will be selled..:(

Anyway, he's a very good player and it'd be nice if we could fit him into the side. I really don't understand why we don't play him out on the left. Either way, as I'm sure you're all aware, I think if he doesn't get a spot in the starting XI, he should be sold. I would prefer he stayed and played out wide on the left, but if he's not gonna start he should be sold with his salary. I think it's only $7 million though.

Forgett it,,, Recoba will never be sold. IMO, he is ten times more talented than Vieri, and he can be brilliant in a match, and change it... with a good free kick or an individual effort.

I hope he can play as a striker. Ronaldo-Recoba does not sound bad.

According to me, and everyone else on this planet, Ronaldo is the best in the world. SO his place should be cemented in the first XI. Vieri though, even scores, is not so impressive on the pitch u must admitt. For example, Recoba creates more chances, and it is more dangerous with Chino on the pitch, but with Vieri, it is not so dangerous. This is only my opinion, but as an overall football player, I would say he is mediocre.

It is also rumoured about Eriberto, so we will probably see this:

that was true last season....when we had gresko playing on the left.....so when recoba didn't defend it made the situation just more dangerous.....but now that we got COCO.....i think that it won't be bad if elchino will play on the left.....cuz now COCO will cover him up....:D
that means that KILY won't come after all.....so i say go for nesta....he is more necessary for the team.....
btw....who do you guys think will play on the right side of the mildfield? and who'll play in the center?

I wouldn't trust Coco to take care of the whole left side defencively...he's not THAT good, you know...and from what I've seen he also likes to make runs to help the attack. So, I agree with skualo, all-attacking Recoba is not the right player on the left midfield.
I would like to see him as a striker. That certainly means time on the bench, but I'm trusting in Inter's success in CL, so he will also get his chances in the starting eleven...and there is coppa Italia of course :D
It is obvious some (hopefully small) injuries happen during every season. Who can we trust if either of our super star strikers gets injured? Corradi? Kallon? Not good enough...I say RECOBA! He has said he is happy playing for Inter, and I'm sure he knows the situation. And Moratti has enough money in his pockets. I don't think we should sell him just for some principle like "first team players should make better money"...
