how is the university exam in your country please write

i am very worried.i finished high school this year and thinks for university for next 4 years.
in Turkey you have to enter an exam and take the point the university you want.the point you took from exam is added with your high school average point.in 2002 june nearly 1.500.000 people enterd this exam and %21 of them will make an enter to university.

and how is it in your country?i mean what must do a person to enter a universty in your country.i am very worried about the university exams in other countries.

In USA, inorder to go to college you have to have a 2.5 or above grade point average, it's like having a C or in Europe a 3. At your last year of High School you take two exams SAT and ACT, i think, i not sure, and by when to file an application to go to College they look at your scores and Grade point average, and then decide to enroll i thier school.
