Swedish Allsvenskan side Malmo FF have signed former Besiktas and Real Sociedad goalkeeper Mattias Asper, the club revealed on Monday.

Asper inspired AIK to the Swedish title in 1998 and earned a move to Real Sociedad two years later. However, he lost his place in the team in 2001 and was loaned out to Besiktas.

That loan deal ran out in June and Malmo FF have now taken the opportunity to sign the talented keeper for an undisclosed fee.

Current Malmo keeper Lee Baxter will be less excited about the signing as he lost out to Asper for the No 1 jersey when the two of them played together at AIK.

he was a very good Gk at Boca and he have been the 1st choice Gk on the Colombian NT since 94,but Farid Mondragon had established himself in europe.....
