Great to see you Yazz! I'm freezemr on Soccernet. You may remember me from when Gala and Barca clashed in the CL last year. I told Graves about the WSB and I know you lot will really be great members, especially in regards to the Turkish Football board. I think you guys can even get some seperate club boards in time if you post enough and keep things going. :D
You'll find me on many boards here, but moreso the Barca and Ajax boards cause I mod there. I'm a big Inter fan too and I'm on that board a lot.
Again, welcome to the WSB!

Thanks to Gravesends.

Talk to u guyz soon.
Hey Azerkid my dad visited Azerbayjan quite a while ago
say about 15yrs, when he was doing some studies on Turkish
language (Doctorate on the Turkish Language). He was rapt with the people. and the country.
I think If you include all the people from Turkey and areas of Azerbeyjan, Turkistan etcs, did you know that Turkish language is
spoken by more people then say English.
It is on top with the most spoken language. (sorry bit of lingo info for u)

I dont think he will quit the Swedish NT for the Azeri
well the only way he can quit us is for playing time...

You dont understand..... He plays for Sweden U-18 but if he quits he will play for Azeri "A" squad.
So its giving up U-18 for "A" team action.

I agree, it would be better to play for Azerbaijan because he would play against better NT compettion, and get recognized by many clubs if he plays well, and also he will still be able to play in Sweden on club level.

Hi Roberto!
Are you a 'Football Nostradamus'? :p
OR
Are you part of the authority or technical staff responsible for selecting the Swedish NTs?:p
Never say 'Never'!!
The chances of an Azeri-Swedish, or any dual citizen for that matter, being part of the Swedish NTs might be low, but as long as one is Swedish on paper, is talented and plays good football, it IS a POSSIBILITY!!!!;)

Why so?
You can't compare the A-level competition to U-18 level. Even if it's Azerbaijan, and no degrading intent here at all, it is still A-LEVEL.:star:
He'll be among the A-level players and will gain hi experience playing against A-levels. Any game even if you lose, tie, or don't advance in a competition is still an experience and it's way above U-18 level.
Azeris are going to play against Italy, Yugoslavia, Finland and Wales just for Euro2004 qualification.
They have already played with Sweden, Turkey, Romania, France:( , Poland, Slovakia, Norway, Portugal and many other more mediocre eastern European and Transcaucasian, Caucasian countries. No matter what the results are, most of these are good teams to play and gain experience against and the competition level is incomparable to U-18.:star:

Roberto Abrego buddy you have no clue on what you is talkin' 'bout Ilhan Mansiz was benched because Senol Gunes couldn't let go of Hakan Sukur's "big ego" anyway Ilhan Mansiz was the top-scorer of The Turkish League last season and both Real Madrid and Chievo made bids for him only to be turned down by Besiktas! Real offred Besiktas Flavio Conceicao, Savio, and $3 million for Ilhan Mansiz and Besiktas said no!
