As a former player and the manager of such a big and prestigous club as Ajax, he will be in the news often. We can use this thread to discuss him and his tactics or anything else relating to him.

I'm a bit disappointed that Big Ron isn't being given the funds he needs to bring in a player or too. Previous managers have been given the funds, so why not Koeman? I think he'll be a great manager, but he needs support too. It's not like he's asking for Man Utd type money.

It's the same as when Bobby first went to Newcastle, the previous three managers all spent killions but Bobby had lira 2.50 to spend on new players.

But don't worry, great managers always manage, even without great amounts of dosh (strange tho that mighty Ajax doesn't have moola). Koeman and Rijkaard...... restores my faith in Dutch managers after Ruud Gullit at Newcastle......

Never lost faith here with LVG and Hiddink pretty much getting the job done when needed, not to mention Advocaat.

I'm sure he'll do fine as they've sold virtually no one. It's just that he really wants Sikora and he's not that expensive.
