To be honest, I think he's a dodgy defender from what I've seen of him so far. However, he's a raw talent and I'm sure SBR will mould him into a top class centre back. He has a habit of turning average players into world beaters

probably any of the Swedish defenders will do. Mjallby and Melberg are good defenders, as well as Alpay of Turkey. I doubt they'd sell though. Marko Rehmer (Germany) is a solid defender, but I doubt any of the players mentioned are SBR's targets

Metzelder and Jakobson of Sweden, those two I'd like to see at St. James's. Unfortunately I doubt either's available.

Bramble transfer still not done... been how long now? When was the last time we had a normal transfer, with newspaper reporting interest then in a week we get the player? Instead it's drawn out over months or comes out of the blue.

Real/Barca/Juve etc better hope NUFC don't enter the bidding for him, cuz SBR would convince him to join the best young team in Europe!
